Cosd
Looking at getting a pair of wellies and pretty much decided on the Aigle parcours but can't decide whether or not to go for fully zipped or not. Heard mixed reviews on the zips breaking down. Would like a zip for ease of removal if they are reliable. Anyone got any experience with these zips? Non zip is Aigle Parcours ISO 2 Zipped version Aigle Parcours ISO Open

Mungler
Zips deffo (got Hunter Sovereigns). Get the best you can - a decent pair will last and everytime you put them on you'll be grateful you didn't cut any corners
Whitebridges
Been toddling about in a cheap pair of Hoggs farm yard wellies. Lasted 2 years. Went for a stroll on the beach and water ****** in.Tried a repair but no joy. I have a very high arch in the foot and now got a pair of full zip up Le Chameau Chassuer neo lined, awesome booties. JimLondon
Zips all day long with hunter fleece Welly socks
JBS
I've never understood why people need zipped wellies? The three people I shoot with on a regular basis all have to do theirs up with pliers as the zips are broke. They are all Chameau's as well
anthonychez
my zipped iso are brill,
Beardo
why zips? because you can easily put your foot in without your trouser riding up, and when you do it up it's lovely and close fitting. When you take them off you just unzip and slip it, no faffing around tugging away
Alycidon
La Chameau Virizinord, ( Blue neoprene liner), no zip, keeps feet nice and warm All my mates with zip up wellies break the zips sooner or later. a
Fatcatsplat
I've got the Aigle open iso - Check them out on the Decathlon website for price. Mine are 4 or 5 years old, watertight, warm and with loads of tread left - I'm a wide load and use them every weekend and when walking the dogs - As has been said, the zips make getting them on and off a synch. Cracking boots IMHO
Cosd
Thanks for all the advice guys Think I'm going for the ISO open then. Anyone know a localish dealer where I can try them on? I know of one in Chelmsford but hoping there's someone closer
P~MX
zips are a no brainer -- Toggi's Wanders are great but the Sovereign's are the dogs dangly bits
plank06
I've got le chameau without zips, perfect for me, but if I put any weight on zips would be needed!

plank06
So am i right in saying that zips are for salad dodgers I Wouldn't quite put it like that as I'm a firm believer anything green or salad related is bad for you, I'd certainly recommend trying them on first mate. rimfire4969
I have Aigle with zips had the for a couple of years with no problems. I have put a small loop of para cord on each zip it makes undoing them with cold fingers much easier.
Cosd
Can anyone who owns Aigle parcours prestige boots tell me how far the zip goes down to on these boots? The parcours ISO Open are the same boot except the lining, so same question applies. I just got a pair of the Prestige but having difficulty putting them on and off, am wondering whether the opening simply hasn't been cut down low enough. Mine only open down to the ankle, and I'm thinking that they should open lower down than they do.
TIGHTCHOKE
Well I've had my pair of full zip up Le Chameau Chassuer neoprene lined wellies for 15 years and they're still great. The zip tag on the left boot broke over Christmas and it now has a split ring which allows it to work fine. For the £115:00 that my wife paid for them, I think they have been tremendous value! Fib new
No zips.., and no aigle either. Have a pair of Hunters with and a pair without -almost never open the zip. No aigle because there are fair better wellies for the same money.
steve_b_wales
Zips definitely (I have Le Chameaus though.) As above. I have the same make, and having the zip in them is a godsend in my opinion.
