king ratcatcher
Just out of intrest, how do you eat your steak, well done, medium, medium rare, or rare, silly question really, but just intrested
tiercel
Cut it's horns off, wipe its bum, then stick it on the plate. Tiercel
Wookie
If I could eat my steak after a brief blast from a blow torch, I would. Rare or blue is the _only_ way to eat steak... Dammit. Now I'm getting hungry
sandersj89
Agree, rarer the better. Love Steak tartare to, and that is raw! Jerry
Baldrick
I show the uncooked meat the heat from a small candle at 30 yards distance. Rare is the only way to eat steak. Incidentally, did anyone see that obnoxious cretin Heston Blumenthal on TV this week, harping on about his methods of cooking steak? In summmary it took 36 hours, and involved a blowtorch. What a muppet. So much for simplicity in the kitchen.

simon.w
In answer to the question how do i eat my steak, with a knife and fork, I prefer it to be cooked medium rare. Runs and ducks for cover
the hitman
Always rare any more just ruins a good piece of meat.

pin
I like mine sufficiently rare that a skilled vet could have it back on its feet in a trice

njc110381
I'm not bothered. Sometimes I have it hammered thin and cooked hard, when I'm hungry rare is fine. I haven't tried steak tartare yet, but wouldn't mind a go sometime.
16 Bore
Nothing better than a rare steak as long as it’s a good one….and English!!!! (Exercising my right to positively discriminate while running for cover  )

Axe
After massaging a Rib-eye in Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil and sprinkled with Sea Salt, it gets griddled to rare and then mouth wateringly devoured.
Ferret Master
Medium ish... Now onto the subject of what sort of steak... I'm rather partial to some local steak from Lackham college bought from the butcher at Whitehall garden centre. Put some salt and herbs on top, brush lightly with oil and grill to medium. FM
