The round was a 168grn A Max doing something over 2500fps and delivering around 2400ft/lbs All I can confirm is that it was a clean kill. The rabbits here have never been shot, so although they are used to the sound of gas guns they don't associate it with real danger. From the size of the damage I was expecting to see a swarm of them, but it was very hot up there, which normally keeps them at bay. On my way off the field I shot 22 with the HMR in the space of five minutes along one hedge line, I only wish I had a gun mounted camera as it would have made an impressive video. Still there is always another day and another warren. Did you have to neck it ?? Think you mite of just clipped it The original video is full HD and when I slowed it down to see what happened it looks like its head just vaporised, although there were bits of meat spread over a five metre radius so it could have been somewhere amongst that. Did you go back for the meat? The meat looked nice and clean, but it might of taken a while to pick the bits of bone out, a bit like a rabbit water bottle.
