Reeceknight
I have a fiesta and my gun doesn't fit in the boot and just and I mean just fits on the rear seats. so looking for other transport options I found this in America and thought it was a fantastic idea for gun transport. you can have it on rear seats aswell so it's hidden in the boot. just can't find one in the uk http://www.mackspw.com/Item--i-AVE64029
Reeceknight
they also do loads of other designs like full sleeves they slide in and one that fits your guns slip. Thought it was a nice and easy option depending it would still fit my car length ways lol I think it's the widest part of my car.
al4x
far too visible, personally mine just goes behind the front seats in the footwell. Out of sight and free, rifles are in hard cases and go in the same place
Reeceknight
visability wouldn't bother me, it would simply slide in in the gun slip is drive to the farm or clays and slide it straight out. Seems better than it on my back seats sliding around and last time time it was on the back seats someone pulled out and it ended up on the floor so I thought it was time to make or buy somthing safe to store it whilste driving
Cosd
Can't you break the gun down?

I agree it's too visible but if you want to mount your gun like that then just get some bungees! It's not like it needs to be realtree camo in the back of your fiesta! I would stick to keeping in behind the front seats on the floor if I was you though.
Reeceknight
It doesn't need to be real tree it comes in black haha I thought you wasn't ment to put a shotgun I'm the foot well over the tunnelling? can that not damage it when hiring pot holes and pumps? I was just thinking for 30 quid the ease of walking out the house with gun in slip and sliding it in the back seats and simply sliding it out at the other end was an easy option? instead of breaking it down, letting it slide around on the back seat, folding all the seats down wich I done last time we went clay shooting with 3 guns. I was looking at maybe making somthing at work that hooks over the rear seats and holds the gun on the from of the back seats aswell. thought I could make somthing fairly easy. al4x
there is no issue in the footwell, in a case if you are worried just break it loosely or stick a couple of coats down with it. Free and out of sight
Breastman
I've got an Astra and 4 of my guns won't fit in the boot (well, not with the amount of other stuff i've got in there), so i just put the gun bag(s) across the footwells of the rear seats. Sits there snugly and less obvious than in the front footwell or just on the back seat, easy to throw a coat/rug etc over too
activeviii
On the back seat, in its case and pop the seatbelt over, sorted.
rimfire4969
I just chuck mine in the footwell in the back, never had any damage from pot holes. I can see that it would be handy for when i am at our shoot driving around in the landy for easy and quick access.
TIGHTCHOKE
I have one of those things on the back of my car, I believe they call it the boot! Absolutely great for storing and carrying weapons and ammunition!
