Flask of Scotch Broth......and me 'baccy tin' with a few already rolled, as we all now....you always get a 'sitter' as you roll a fag or grab a butty!!!

..............Also a bog roll as I have been caught short a time or two in the field!!!!!!!!! :good: Nothing worse than having to use dock leaves!............

In order,

Flask of tea,

Dog,

But the handiest bit of kit that i carry in my bag would have to be,

Bungee straps, roll insulating tape, electricians tie wraps.

you can use these for all manner of things, repairing bits of kit to hide building etc??

I always take a shooting mate with me.

Preferably one who's a worse shot than me (they all are, according to me :P:P )

Also a cooking stove and smoked bacon, spicy bangers and a large flask of tea :P:P

In my time I've forgotten cartridges, rifle bolt, magazine and even took the wrong bolt for the wrong rifle.

Good to blame someone else for not going through the check list before we start off :good::blush:

Headlamp, as I lamp in some decidely dodgy boggy mountain areas & by the sea, useful to have incase the lamp or battery gives out on me.

Mobile phone, for much the same reasons as above.

Backpack so I can comfortably carry my battery and other gear, also useful for storing gear in at home!

I know it's part of the rifle but Tikka magazine, one click and the rifle is completely unloaded without cartridges spilling all over the place.

Caller, work smart, not hard.

Finally I couldn't be without thermal underwear and a goot warm hat :good::blush::P:P

Jungle boots - great for hunting, light weight with a tractor sole so no muzzling the gun when jumping ditches.

SAS smock - silent good + DPM, scrim scalf worn islamist style with RT gloves.

matchete - big ex-mod 1945 type in sheath on a pistol belt.

pistol - HW45 for final despatching in large frame holster.

plus I do try not to look too scarry when walking throught the woods.
