I would have come for this but after last time I am going to have to pass , its not that £30 is much money , but having you going on all day trying to flog me a xmas cake really got to me , I mean I know yours are hand made and that but Aldi do a nice one for not even quarter the price your asking.

And then there was the cartridge I lent you , you did say can I borrow , 6 weeks later and I have still not got it back .

So in short lads , take plenty of money because by the time he has flogged you a xmas cake and a couple of pastys you might as well have paid for a driven day , and dont even think about lending him a cartridge , you will never get it back !!

Thanks for a great day Fenny and those who turned up.

Nice to meet up with some old friends (pesky pigeon) and always nice to meet some new one's....great shooting today The Yorkshire Massive!!!

Great to see Fenboy who turned up after wildfowling this morning, unlucky with a fox that sat watching him 10 foot away while he ate his lunch...it must have known his gun was in the boot.....cunning devil.

Today was about getting a mixed bag below are those shot by myself today.

Duck

Partridge

Pigeon

Pheasant

Squirrel

A great day thanks Shaun.

I am knackered now since I was up this morning at 3am

I will have to be better equipped for the unexpected after dropping in after the fowling , I really do not recommend anyone trying walking up pheasants in neoprene chest waders , it gets a tad warm

Thanks for lending me some lead cartridges Ghost , though I still think those size one 3 1/2" steel loads would have killed them just fine :whistling:

No problem Fenboy, you can sort me out some 3 1/2" steel cartridges out if I ever wake up at 3am to go shooting.

Thanks again for your wise words today Fenboy "What's the difference between a dog and a fox?......8 pints.

I still dont get it but will think long and hard on the matter in the club tomorrow night.

Thank you Fenny for a great day, was good to meet other PW members and do some different things.

Was a long drive down and a very early start and late finish for us (myself and 8gun - Now apparently nicknamed the Yorkshire Massive ) but it was definitely worth it .

Fenny knows his permission like the back of his hand and ensured that we had plenty of sport throughout the day, with a fantastic morning of pigeon shooting the like of which we had never experienced before, excellent wildlife, and some truly wild pheasants, topped up at the end of the day with some more pigeons and finally some duck. What more could you want.

Hopefully those pigeon's helped sharpen our eye's a little with the bag being 23 odd pigeons ( with one or two that were picked up by the local birds of prey and stoats ) A squirrel and a duck for far too many shots ( just goes to show the potential for a day with Fenny if you are not busy embarrassing the whole of Yorkshire with your poor shooting! )

Thank you from both of us Fenny, you were an excellent host and we had a fantastic day.
