I have just bought my first Beretta as I fancied a more sensible auto more suitable for clays, got a great deal on an AL391 teknys. It's got the "xtra wood" which is nice but obviously fake and has worn away in a couple of places (any idea how to touch this up?). Formerly gold trigger with the gold finish worn off Scully will be pleased to hear. Very smooth shooting, not a fan of the shiny finish on the action so that'll be getting cerakoted black in the near future.

Cant go wrong with a self loading Beretta. It probably shoots better now the gold has worn off the trigger. 😉

Find a local artist or sign writer to ‘grain’ the bits on the stock where it’s worn, if it bothers you.

Smart! Well chuffed! 🙂
Thanks all for suggestions, and in particular @Konor who suggested the Tourbon. Works a treat and looks the dogs!

Pleased you like it Scully mine is slightly different having a Velcro type fastener but the lace will probably accommodate you sling swivel easier. It looks grand on your Breda.

I sadly don’t take the Hatsan out too much, I love shooting it, but sometimes feel you get frowned upon by the ‘Gun Snobs’ of the ground.

Plus, you can’t cross the rope on a sporting layout, but what if your empties land on the other side!? I have asked the question, and most owners say leave them, but I still feel bad for leaving them.
