rimfire4969
Come on then guys let's have the beaters days results. Had mine today. 126 for 1282 shots. That's about 10 - 1 shot ratio, you put some lead in the air, high birds? must of been a great day. We shot today 127 for 613 shots. I even won the sweep stake for birds plus shots. oscarsdad
We just had 21 for quite a few shots lol but my wife can at least claim one of them (her second ever pheasant) ! But that's not the point, the point is having a laugh with a great group of people and taking the Micky as much as possible, eating some yummy food and for a special treat today, painful 70mph horizontal hailstones! I have two more beaters days left to look forward to. Edited January 25, 2014 by oscarsdad

Keeperchris
Ha ha I chucked 500 cartridges in the ring at the start of the day maybe that had a bearing on how many shots they had each! Lol! Edited January 25, 2014 by Keeperchris

Tim Kelly
We were 35 for 251 today. Great fun, quite a few birds were generous enough to fly the line and get shot at by multiple guns! Nice sunny mild day. Perfect.
simonix
The shoot I beat for managed 48 for 130 odd shots with 10 guns. Hopefully got some pigeon shooting permission out of it too fingers crossed! :-) Roll on next season!

SSS
Last Thursday I had 15 birds for 38 shots, which is pretty good, even if I say so myself. I've got 2 more days coming up, one this Thursday as a back gun/beater and one on Saturday which is beaters day.

shalfordninja33
Had our Beaters day on Saturday, 32 head for 119 shots. We're having out last walk around on the 1st where both beaters and guns will be shooting together, it will be fairly low key, a few will stand but in the main we'll be walking though the drives in a line clearing up cocks and the vermin. norfolk dumpling
First one this year 67 head for 250 shots but more importantly a fantastic day with a lot of Micky taking - the next/last one for me is on a big estate which does 20 or so 250-300 bird days so should have a bit more action there but the first one will be very hard to beat. remmyman
Last one yesterday, total head= 155 pheasant/partridge. I won the annual trophy for the 'best, most difficult, brilliant and superlative shot' the **** takers reckon it was just flukey!! Arrrrghhhh, 'ENVY' is a terrible thing Regards remmyman
