Graham M Posted March 30, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2014 Thanks lads. No jig used aaris, just leave the wood big and make sure it's 50mm drop at heel. The rest is simply done by eye making sure everything is a symmetrical as possible, other than the cast, which is done by simply making the butt 9mm off-centre and working backwards towards it. I have made a few rifle stocks over the years but have never bothered to take pictures as they were only for myself. As the years went by the cost of Walnut just went stupid and it got to the point where it was cheaper to import a beautiful rifle stock from Richards Microfit than it was for the blank over here.
