everycal
Long shot I know but does anyone know what motor is on this rotary I have? Be so much easier to just get a new motor than having to worry about gearing etc on a different one! Thanks Luke
la bala
Get yourself down to the car breakers yard.
Kes
Its a very early pigeon magnet motor I think and it was probably powered by a landrover windscreen wiper motor. The device to gear down was a nylon gear wheel IIRC.

JDog
Just get a new one. Imagine if you are on a hot flight line and the old motor packs in.
steve_b_wales
Contact AA Decoys. They supply the same type of motor on their rota's. I purchased a spare motor from them two years ago, for around a tenner.
The Essex Hunter
Go down the car breakers with it, most of the pcd,s ( hole spacing's) are the same. 10 & 13mm sockets and a pair of side cutters. Just check the depth of the drive post against the new one.... It is quite simple that's why they were made for pigeon shooters....
