Sco77w
i have been on the hunt for a shotgun to start off my collection of single barreled multi shot shotguns and have been looking at Micks Guns. Now I came across this website a couple of years ago but nothing seams to have changed on there. Is he still trading. There was an update on the website last summer with regards to his arrest back in 2007 (I think) but I wondered if any of you guys had bought anything from him. HDAV
Bosher might be a better bet... micksguns are on the pricey side from what i have seen. Unusual doesn't always mean valuable
Sco77w
I did find a thread on another shooting forum about him but for a man with so many guns I'm struggling to find anyone that has bought from him. Maybe my thoughts about him being a bit pricey may be founded. There are a couple of shotguns on there that sell in America for half the price in $ than he's selling for £s. The rule of thumb seams to be here in rip off Britain we pay in £s what our Cousins over the pond pay in $s (if that makes sense) Edited June 30, 2014 by Sco77w
oscarsdad
there's only one RFD worth buying a gun from...our own Bosher...

Sco77w
Then I believe I have a challenge for Mr Bosher, to source me a manual shotgun, either pump action or lever action (may consider something different) but would prefer something designed by Mr Browning either S1 or S2 and better value than the ones for sale on the earlier mentioned website. Will Poon
I've spoken to Mick shepherd several times on the phone, he knows his stuff for sure. I was after a winchester 1887 lever action shotgun but I've decided to hold back for the time being

DazzJo
+1 Mick Vokes (WabbitBosher) has every gun to suit your needs, unbeatable prices and all round top guy I did a 4 hour round trip to pick a gun up off him and it was definitely worth the hours spent in the car
Fatcatsplat
Another vote for Wabbitbosher here. If you want to speak to Mick Shepard, he can be frequently found at Dartford CSG wearing something vaguely cowboy/Elvis

saddler
Mate has had a couple of early pumps from MicksGuns, Rem 31 & an Ithaca 37, plus a nice 1911 auto too. As others have stated, some of his prices are on the high side at times

lineshooter
I have a section 1 Winchester 1897, 1946 vintage, took me four years to find one at the right price, simple gun but good fun to shoot, good luck with your search.
