morty
Mmm interesting , not heard of some of these , will have to keep my eye open for some . I do like aberlour , dalwinnie . I did hav a bottle of johnny walker blue a few years ago , that someone sold to me cheaply . It was ok but don't think I would purchase another . For a cheaper brand , grants oak cask or sherry cask are quite nice . Glenmorangie also nice .

loriusgarrulus
Try Aldi's Glen Orrin 5 year old malt not bad for a blend and only £13.29 per bottle. Aldi's Glen Marnoch 12 year old single malt at £17.99 bottle cracking good value too.
