As long as extremists exist in the region this will never be resolved. Those with an axe to grind use this as an excuse to further their own aims and with so much instability in Palestine who is going to stop them. When both sides have been at it as long as these two have, that is when other nations should get involved to try and bring peace to the region. Both sides seem to be a law unto themselves, hence the need for intervention by a major force to sort it out. But hey oh no oil to be had and no gain so why bother. When you start a topic on something like this it's always going to invite debate on all the issues the region has as it's all tied into it. So long as that debate is not turned into a slanging match or points scoring I think its healthy to talk about the problems and see what others views are.
