I've been after this dog for around 3 weeks and he's been frustrating me to Say the least . I've done early mornings , late nights , bait stations by the high seat and he's either to far out , won't call in or I just get a glimpse and gone . I had to clear up one remaining cub tonight and couldn't resist to drive the 5 miles for a look around for him, I walked for what felt like miles and in the distance there he was, range finder on him 390metres Rifle down onto my sticks and immediately started calling, to my amazement he finally started very slowly coming towards me and around 150 ish metres I didn't want to chance it gave a shout cross hairs on the chest down he went stone dead. To say I was pleased was an understatement, I Dred to think how many hours I've spent looking and waiting for him, I can finally go to work refreshed in the mornings now rather than tired from getting up early looking for him , well until another one is as sly of course Thanks for looking Edited May 30, 2015 by fruity Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
