FalconFN
I really liked my Muck boots, very comfy and warm, but they were heavy and the heel inside very quickly wore through. I now have Aigle parcours ISO and they are great - probably not as warm as the Muck boots but much better quality and very comfortable. I got mine for less than £100 too. Davyo
Musto's £149 had them 7 weeks then they started to leak as sole came away on the instep.Seeland 1st pair £129 Heel came away within 2 months, replace them with a diff style theses split along the seam at the heel. Moved to Muck boots, never had a single issue other than the soles are hard wearing ( old type) .Bought the new ones with the vibrum sole, they are good but leather on wet concrete it like wearing roller blades. Duckandswing
Muck or buckler boots. Like wearing slippers, rugged, waterproof, and warm. Maybe just described myself.
Vince Green
I bought my Dunlop wellies for £9.99 about four (maybe five) years ago. Very comfortable, still got years left in them and they have regularly been through some serious stuff in the Brecon Beacons National Park without a problem

I've had countless Dunlop's and unless you have feet like a hobbit or you're the sort that find wooden cloggs surprisingly soft, then cheap wellies are not ever comfortable, warm or in any other way pleasant to wear. Jonty
Grubs. I'm with Walshie on this one! Grubs Stalkers, they are similar to muck boots, but have a vibram sole, perfect for all sorts of terrain and comfy too. They come in at about £75 - £

I don't agree, my wellies may be cheap but they are both comfortable and warm, admittedly I wear seaboot socks with them. I am very fussy about my footwear because my Achilles tendons are knackered from too much working off ladders. I am also not financially constrained by the cost of what I wear, I have just genuinely never thought they were in any way lacking and they do seem indestructable. Wildfowler12
Having spent £9.99 - £149.99 on wellies, I personally find Decathlons 'Solognac' range the best £ for £ on the market

Redditch
I got some Dunlop neoprene wellies, and they have fantastic grip (even on black ice). Only thing I've found with almost all neoprene wellies, is the lining on the inside will split and come loose. Eventually you can hardly get your feet out. This is generally after 9-10 months continuous use, but, that is everyday use (I live on an old farm) Not expensive for the dunlops either when you get them off amazon Edited September 12, 2015 by Redditch
m greeny
Another vote for the grubs frostline there very comfy warm and have good grip. Supposed to keep your feet warm down to minus 30 degrees but if it ever gets that blooming cold i will be sat in front of the fire and not going outside to test them out.
