ilovemyheckler
I managed to get my willies full of water while shooting last Friday. Although they have been in the utility room since they are still very wet. Any tips on how to dry them out? They are leather lined if that makes any difference. Thanks. Smokersmith
You can get some "dry boot" things, which are basically a bag of hygroscopic material which dries stuff out, and then can be re-charged by microwave or leaving on a radiator. I've had some for over 5 years now and still working a treat. The old fashioned way is to crumple newspaper into tight balls and place in an oven to heat up. These then get stuffed into the boots when hot. Hope one of these works for you.
clakk
fill em with rice ,and leave for a couple of days .its a big sponge effect ,then just tip it in your compost bin ,unless you like sniffy rice pudding of course

MrDaveO84
I stuff mine with newspaper and put them in the airing cupboard upside down. The wife really appreciates that
Bobba
I turn the tops of mine inside out and balance them on a radiator.+1 It's useful to have a utility room or similar as there is an associated medical problem for me if I do it in the kitchen. It's called "ear ache"!!
anser2
If indoors dry newspaper as others have said , if out doors bang a couple of short narrow posts into te ground and hang the boots on then with the posts inside. On a breezy day they will dry in hours

fortune
if you need to use them and they are just slightly wet get a couple if plastic carrier bags and wear them on you feet inside the wellies. Pull the bags up as much as possible and either tie them or use a large lastic band to stop them from falling down and off of your feet. A trick that will get you operational until they can be further dried out. Also try to find a better spot to jump across the stream. I seen several lads go in up to the waist which a'int much fun in freezing winter time

On a breezy day they will dry in hours After my muddy encounter the other week I had to jet wash the insides of my chest waders , I dried them out by hanging them upside down on some extended hide poles , they were dry in a few hours. Jonty
Disposable nappies stuffed inside wet boots work really well. They have the advantage over newspaper in that they soak up the moisture but don't let it leach back into the boot. Cheepo supermarket own brands cost peanuts and are very effective. kent
The newspaper trick works best if you simply roll the full paper up and slot it in, leave the boots upright and the paper wicks the moisture up and out Overnight in a warm spot normally sorts it
