kippylawkid
What a class dog you have there. You've obviously spent a lot of time to get to that control.

Millomite
Gradually when they're ready. I start with a starting pistol and fire it in a game bag at first and see how they react

hodge911
Excellent video thx. Great dog cant wait to try mine (8 weeks) when do you introduce the gun?I know different people have different ways but how I done it was by taking her to the clay ground and parking in furthest bay away from the guns and playing with toy in the car with her with the doors and windows closed for about 20 / 30 minx .Next time move a couple bays closer and same again until after about 4 visits opened the windows a bit but still keep her attention by playing tug with toy so that the guns going off were just a background noise keep at it until eventually we were parked next to the guns with the tailgate open and me and jess sitting watching the guys shoot . it worked perfect for us doing it this way
