TIGHTCHOKE
George, as short as you like, it's the components inside that matter!
Guest cookoff013
George. The shorter brass is cheaper. The large brass is just porn.
propercartridges
yes I know made over 60 000 for a chap up north for geese 40 gram in lead put on 12 mill head price a bit confidenshall but he is selling them a few moans as he wanted bigger brass but more money so he said ok people now loving them and advise to get the swag in to make another 20 000 wat can u say
Stonepark
Large brass looks good, but over 16mm is too much, anything down from 16 max helps when 'ahem..cough.. reloading....cough' as easier to resize.
Lord Geordie
T4 are a nightmare to resize in my Lee load all as the resize ring gets stuck, also the MEC 9000 collet had probs resizing too. I like the T2 as it is a lot easier to reload!

Lord Geordie
Not sure you pair of plums are being much help to George! What I am trying to say, it high brass isn't something I would pay more for! I would be happy to just have the low brass! Also some bolt action and pump actions "like my old Winchester have issues with high brass, they get jammed! Just my personal finding! Stonepark
In Scotland, lead ban i on wetland areas. So rivers, marshes, pond foreshore etc., not on species

anser2
All extra brass is makes the shells look good. the less brass the less metal there is to rust , the less problems you get with jamming cartridges in both S\Ss and S\As. Top mark made a shell in 2 3\4 and 3 inch in all plastic cases and they worked fine.
chris1961
Makes no odds really as said before they both shoot the same short brass is cheaper then I'll go for the short every time

Kalahari
Surprising that nobody makes a fully plastic case. No brass coated STEEL to rust. David.
a303
Not bothered myself with high or low brass. Just look pretty that's all, I wouldn't pay any more for em. Edited October 18, 2015 by a303

figgy
I like no brass at all. The full plastic cases are the way, easier to recycle. Why don't they still make them. If your paying top dollar for carts you expect high brass for your money. Edited October 18, 2015 by figgy
rovercoupe
Short brass but make the cases clear so you can see components.
