Drinking two and a half lives of coffee + presumably a couple of toilet breaks as a result of all that liquid makes the shooting of 300 odd pigeons even more remarkable. I ate a packet of fruit pastels and a snickers bar yesterday afternoon. I shot 12. Clearly I should take a flask! Great report once again, well done! We always shoot standing, normally the hides are different heights as DB is shorter than me but Friday's hide was slightly on a hill which made it level. I can only remember one occasion that we shot sitting, we had to make the hide on a normal height wire fence . So we both shot sitting on a tuft of grass about ten to twelve inches high at the base of the fence. I made a scrape in the floor of the hide to ease the pain in my legs. I can't remember the number shot but I think it was about fifty. I have made a spinning top bucket seat and never used it yet, perhaps when I'm eighty????
