DannyS
What is everyones meant of choice for Xmas dinner? I myself am a fan of Goose but have some fussy family members who only really like Turkey unfortunately. But I have to say was a litte suprised when speaking to my butcher, who said it's probably 80-20 in favour of Turkey and that more people seem to have Beef for Xmas lunch than goose. What's everyone doing this year? Turkey and a piece of Venison at ours i do believe. ATB
kennett
Big Ham for Christmas eve/boxing day, and a turkey for Christmas day, but only because my wife gets a proper fresh one as a Christmas perk from work. Plan to crown it, and roll and stuff it.
Zenduri
When visiting family over Christmas we usually have turkey but this year have changed it up for beef. My step mum is a bit of a fussy eater so whilst i would love a Goose it's off the cards im afraid

Mentalmac
I am lucky to get two Xmas dinners in the same day this year as I did last year. I got a organic hand reared meat chicken and venison for the first one, and then a 'posh' turkey for the second. (my mum gets one of those hand reared turkey's) - inevitably I'll be so drunk before the second Xmas dinner I won't remember how good the turkey is/was until I have some for my boxing day morning breakfast. DannyS
All sound very good gents! What would xmas be without a dangerous amount of pigs in blankets lol and obviously sampling our new batch of sloe gin!
Thunderbird
Even though I'm not necessarily wedded to the idea of having turkey for Christmas dinner, I do like having a bit of turkey about even if it's for curries after Christmas, or for one of my personal seasonal weaknesses, turkey and Heinz salad cream sandwiches.
