beanieboy
I see a local RFD here in N Ireland is now stocking the above. Savage synthetic or thumbhole laminate. No mention of any other make. Think I'll wait and see if other makes become available....anyone actually using a WSM?
Hendrix's rifle
Don't think there's many over here if any, I'm sure this topic was covered not too long ago! Id love to see and use one but I know there were issues with accuracy from the factory? 25g vmax at 3000fps from a rimfire? Count me in... Just need to get the ammo rolling to. I'd certainly want in, when it eventually gets moving...

jam1e
What's the big issue with it being based on a nail gun case? As long as it's tested in the same way they would any other case and it passes, what does it matter? I hear moans of, "What about the .17 HMR. Yes I had one. No I never noticed a split neck. No I never had a bullet jammed in the barrel....

Come on 20th... 6 sleeps to go.. Absolutely, the best .17 calibre, old yes. But still the best. Enjoy your new rifle. I'm sure you will have a lot to say about- convert the other's from humers to 17 remers.

Dougy
Action rebarrel and action bluing is just over 1100. Then the mod, rail and scope another 1200. Ouch that hurt lol First time I've added it all up together. Edited July 14, 2016 by Dougy
