managed to pour boiling water over my left hand trigger finger... cue swelling, blistering and general pain.

Then discovered a neighbours ewe had broken into field, managed to skewer said finger with whitethorn while putting the fence back up.

Then cut it with a box knife when herself decided I should remove an old plastic pot from a fuschia that had outgrown it.

Kind of nervous about what I'll do it with it next, but it probably already has picked up some flesh eating virus that I haven't noticed yet...

at this rate you will become yet another casualty in another case of Death By Slapstick! or are you trying to get a nomination for the Darwin Awards?

and the killer thing is, I'm not that clumsy normally.

Seems all the clumsiness was just building up.

Cut resistant gloves - now that is an idea.

Needless to say, chainsaw and axe have stayed on the shelf today. Will do the firewood some other afternoon!

I'd take offense, but for today at least you are probably right!

Can't wait for Autumn and winter - clear air, crisp mornings, amazing scenery and no ******* tourists!

I am looking to start some hill walks this year, some very good trails around here.
