Cz 527 223

Evening all, looking at putting a deposit on a synthetic 527, in .223. Does anyone use one and how do you get on with it?

I have the 550 in 243 but have heard off lots of lads with 527's. From what I hear they are pretty good rifles, although think the trigger is a bit heavy.

 

One thing I do know is having spoken to a gunsmith, its harder to get custom parts to upgrade or change on these make rifles compared to the more commonly seen Sako, Tikka's and Remington actions.

527 in 223 seems to shoot fine.

I've got a 527 in .222, it has a wooden stock, it's a little heavy but I find it a great rifle

Got a cz 527 kevlar varmint 223 1:9. It great light compared to my others, smooth and reliable, only fault for me is you can only get a 5 shot mag.

Now have 527 lux .222 just had it screw cut and can't decide wot mod to put on it can't fault it

I have one...at least I have a "Trigger's Broom" version, with custom barrel and stock! Nice little action. Accurate rifle, nice handling, can't go wrong. Great foxing and vermin control tool.

I have a 527 in .223 Varmint. - Fairly accurate and has the set trigger. Just be aware that the scope dovetail is an odd size.

Got a cz527 .223 ebony version, nice rifle the ebony version only comes with a 3 shot magazine but I can live with that, my rifle is 1:12 twist so ok with bullets upto 55grn , normally shoot out to 300 yard so not much of a problem, depends on what type of shooting you are wanting to do and what distances you want or need to shoot to.

I have a 527 in .223, cheap wooden custom stock and chopped/threaded barrel, very accurate, its probably my favourite rifle

another vote for a 527 i have one in .222 and it wears a ASE utra jet z compact and it's a very nice combo

Its a good tool, look on Saubier, the Americans love it.

i have one in .222 barrel is just about wasted now. not sure what it is with the old CZ's but they sure like to rust. im going to have it re-barreled soon with another .222 but a 1:9 twist. should be interesting.
