Gordon R
Only seen one of these in the last year. They seemed to have a fleeting popularity when they first came out, but it didn't seem to last long. Heard stories of synthetic stock twisting out of the action. I shot one of the wood versions when they came out and it handled better than it looked. The ramped rib, which shoots high, was not to my taste. Westward
Have a few goes with one about 4 years back. It had 32" barrels and was seriously unbalanced. Very light at the back and very heavy up front. Triggers were pretty dismal too and I'm frankly not the least bit surprised that there are hardly any around. Fuji Shooter
I had one and sold it pretty quickly as the synthetic stock wears really badly around the hand grip. No adjustment shims for it either.
decoy1979
I picked one up mint 2nd hand for what I considered a good price and I really like mine. The only issue I've had is the cap on the bottom of the pistol grip coming adrift and being lost, they are not a replacement part so fabricating a replacement seems to be the only way forward. I'm not sure about fleeting popularity, I shot as part of a group of 16 earlier in the season and between us we had 3 out on the day, (28",30" & 32" barrels), I'm not sure what the chances of that are? TIGHTCHOKE
How do you police yourself not to have a look at Guns on the nastyweb ?? We don't, we look, we contact Wabbitbosher and we buy far too many! But not one of those! Edited December 16, 2016 by TIGHTCHOKE
Mr.C
They're a bit of a marmite gun. A mate has a black ice and the 1st time I tried it I put mine old gun away for the rest of the round. I loved it but looked for other high rib guns when it came to buying a newer gun to keep. figgy
Don't bother iv'e had two a 30" and 32" version both wood and the 30" was well balanced but just was not quite right for me, the 32" version was awful. Resale value was that bad the dealer didn't even want it and told me to sell i privately. The action has two sliding quadrants and when it wears isn't really able to be re jointed. Much better guns to buy for the same sort of money.

Savage10FP
I picked up a 2nd older version of the black ice! 28inch barrels, internal chokes! Picked some Teague extended chokes, raised the cheek piece, extended the LOP and I love it! Shot some of my best scores yet this year! If Gordon H is at Rishton on the 27th?? He can have a play with mine!! ☺ Apologies!!! Gordon R!!

Junkyard Dog
A royal pain to get spares for, last ejector I ordered from BW took nearly 6 months....
Savage10FP
Even though I love my gun!! Junkyard Dog is correct! I had some bits sent over from the states! Arrived in the UK after 4 days! Then customs took nearly 2 months to release my parcel, then the small matter of the customs charge! ☹☹
