yod dropper
I was hoping the boundaries would have been redrawn and made fairer before the next election, I think the Tories need something like a 10% lead just to 'break even'. Should by sorted by the next one though. Electorate complacency will be TM's biggest threat. She'd better give us the Brexit we voted for. four-wheel-drive
As fare as polls go just think Brexit and Trump only a fool would believe a Poll as people tend to say what they think you want to hear not what they do.
Vince Green
The Boundaries were re-drawn in Gordon Brown's time supposedly to adjust for changes in the population. It was, rather predictably, not done fairly and the allegation has been made ever since that it gave Labour a 10% advantage. It would be hard to check whether that is true, you would have to go through every constituency one by one. Saying that, it does sound like typical New Labour tactics

wandringstar
Its all a reflection of such a dreadful opposition, she had 6 years as home secretary and record numbers flooded in, the quality bar has dropped so low that people think she is some sort of potentially great pm, the liberals have imploded, and ukip have more or less served their purpose. After the London riots, she rejected the water cannons that boris bought, on the grounds that someone could get hurt, they were hundreds of thousands of pounds and she dismissed the idea. This time last year she was campaigning for remain, correct me if I am wrong. Nah, not for me......same old scene. Bazooka Joe
and under estimating labour though Labour won't do well in the election, but I don't think they will do as bad as the media predict...
JRDS
Wouldn't trust her to deliver milk never mind a real Brexit, she was a truly awful Home Secretary. Hammond is a horror, we really are in a mess Politically in this country. Edited April 23, 2017 by JRDS

Scully
I'm loving this! It's really put the cat amongst the pigeons! I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I have genuinely been excited about UK politics, and this is one of them. The tories will romp to victory, as let's face it, there is absolutely no realistic opposition out there, and I'm back on track voting for the party I have always voted for.....with only once voting for any other party, and that was UKIP. This is great fun. 👍

Having your hands tied by successive courts can't have been a lot of fun. IMHO the water cannon issue was correctly handled. It would have opened the litigation flood gates. (Excuse the pun) The EU neutered any ability the UK government had to deal with these issues years ago.
