cardigun
Hi, Interested in what you guys use in your Larson Traps. I have found that road kill rabbits and squirrels get smelly rather quickly.

Rimfireboy
I feed them on dead animals or cheap pigs liver. Never known them to live long on dog biscuits personally.

reddog
If you can get any day old chicks, one a day will keep them thriving with minimal mess. Just tidy up every couple of days..............Also kills dead any arguments that they don't eat songbirds, they love 'em !!!! Failing that, use the chubby dog food that comes in a plastic film encased sausage.Experiment until you get the quantity right and there is little waste. You still need to provide water . redshrimp
Cheap canned dog food. Feeds it for 3 or 4 days. One of my call birds is in its third year and catches during the winter months as well. Just set the trap in an open fronted shed for extra shelter.
