figgy
Not very old 60, never a good lifestyle during his career. Smoking and drinking constantly during matches. rip

Gordon R
Watched a documentary on Eric last night. I was a fan from his early days and was sad to see him gripped by dartitis. He brought flair to the game and raised its profile almost beyond belief. Wayne Mardle and Keith Deller gave generous praise and acknowledged just what he meant to darts. An uncompromising, old fashioned character. Sad to see him gone.
Scully
He made darts worth watching. Brilliant skill and far too young to go.
Vince Green
Last picture of him taken with a fan outside the venue hours before he died, he had a cigarette in his hand.
