Green hornet
My mate had a gun cabinet in he’s garage but the Feo did want some additional security.Another problem you could come across is damp in cabinet which is what my mate had. team tractor
I kept mine at my parents for years . No problem at all but I know Feo don’t like garages due to how easy it is to break in. apply now as it’ll take months anyway
Farmboy91
I wouldnt bother setting it up just in case he says 'no I don't like it there'. Put it roughly where you want it but have another location in mind just in case. Not the most practical in my opinion but have you not got room for a breakdown cabinet? Flyboy1950
Do you not have access to the loft in the bungalow?
mossy835
as said they dont like it in a garage, un less its part of the house meaning a door going into the house.
blackbird
Your best bet is phone the firearms department for advice, if it’s only one shotgun they might be happy if you fit a gun clamp. Edited July 1, 2018 by blackbird

ClemFandango
Just put it in your bedroom, as long as your parents don't have the keys, or have access to the keys then they can't access your guns. You could put your keys in a code safe in the garage with a code that only you know that might be an extra measure to keep the fuzz happy, but I wouldn't have thought you'd need to do that. j3mps
garage is attached to the house, and i would put it in my loft but I'll be moving soon, it just seems easier to have it at there's.. as I'm moving about for work so I'm not going to be settled any where for a little while. but if it's ok to have at there house even tho they have got license that's fine because they've 2 garages and some places in the house I could put if they're not happy with the garage.. thanks for all your replies. appreciate it!!! Dekers
Why don't you just talk to your region, no point in trying to second guess them.
Lloyd90
I have mine in my garage and so does my mate, they’re both attached to the house though. Mine has the washing machine etc in there so he put it down as “garage converted to utility room”. I have a separate zone alarm for my garage so can can PIR and door alarm set in the garage and still use the rest of the house no bother.
