Rob525
Hi guys hoping for some advise, i have this flask... https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/7221068148217782025?q=stanley+flask&client=ms-android-tmobile-gb&prmd=sivn&biw=360&bih=612&prds=paur:ClkAsKraXyk85pIAgHRxZs3JX4lbDgcq5Q8xc1fN4WzFY70ggJV5VvdDEzpJGTqKWEN0NCvXpM5ufDxm7FA_EKH3Tq36uNXPOT1kM7nkttaeznwTQd0ypb7YvhIZAFPVH717gUZ6_VLs7gzJZUkrCb6V7YEzhQ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj3_MzAkMrdAhXIBcAKHVWUALkQ8wIIlAE Baicly ive just got it out of the cupboard and it seems it has skipped washing before it was put away (probably 2-3years!) and has some what was milky coffe still in!! I just took the lid off and it is undiscribable in there!! Is this possible to clean and be fresh again or should i just cut my losses now rather than trying to clean it and being left with a stinky flask! Thanks in advance! ditchman
dont worry about the ss flask ....that can be cleaned no probs..................your problem could be the rubber seals.......if it is a branded flask you might be able to get replacement seals... Dougy
Rinse it out well, or your hot coffee may taste like caustic lemon juice.

bruno22rf
Dishwasher Tablets are great for jobs like this - another good trick is to put one in the bottom of your sink plug hole in the kitchen and just let it dissolve over a few days - stops stinky plug holes and prevents blockages. bumpy22
Me and owwee of here had a night fox shooting last winter. My truck had dumped all its water but it was fine we used his flask to fill the rad up from a puddle. Have not seen him using it since🤔
