Let’s talk chocolate!

Recommended Posts

Ok, So me and the other half were sat after lunch having a coffee. She reaches into her bag and takes out two Cadbury picnics. Now a few week back we had picnics and they were a wafer with nuts, fruit and choc. Today it’s rice crispies with nuts, fruit and choc?

i am at a loss for words

what happened in two weeks to a national favourite?

Something's been nicked from your picnic.

All are being pared down and cheapened.

Picnics have always contained puffed rice, raisins, nuts and chocolate.

A lion bar was wafer, nuts, fruit and choc.

Lion bars were for setting free Saturday morning in the local swimming pool.

Best in the children's pool first before the big pool near a group.of youths.

Many a laugh was had before pool attendant fished it out in a net.

Malteasers were good fun too.

Remember a Lion bar floating around Barking Lido many years back, nobody was too bothered as the water temperature would have your penis the size of a press stud in seconds. Nobody had the gonads to venture in.

Been a thing for kids everywhere. Being much cheaper than fake poo from the joke shop, pool attendants don't give it back 😅

Babe Ruth bars look better than lion bars in water.
