B391
Is it me or are there more acorns than usual this year. There seem to be masses of them around here, Sussex

steve_b_wales
Nothing on the two Oaks I usually get them off, that's why some kind PW members are sending me some, so that I can plant and forward them on next year.

bumpy22
Loads of beechmast here. The squirrels seem to be very active in the woods with all this
bear-uk
The oak tree at the bottom of my garden was laden with them. Raining acorns in the wind. Today I saw 3 woodies just picking them off for no apparent reason? There was 4 but 1 got lead poisoning 🤔. Only ever seen Jays and Squirrels after the nuts in previous years. old man
For the first time in 15 years beech mast on my lawn from a neighbouring tree. Nor so many acorns locally.
