Dougy
Its a sport that really needs streakers to be compulsory to get it anywhere close to interesting.
figgy
I enjoy watching bowls. Harder to play than it looks.

southeastpete
My boss and co worker are going up to Aberdeen next fri, looks like they might get on telly! They’ve won all sorts including British champion. Boring as anything when they start talking about it but pretty proud of them really
peck
I used to play when i was single then gave it up when i started sniffing around the girls. Started again 7 years ago and now wished i had kept it up when i was younger. It really gets to you, it may not look that exciting but as said it really gets to you. old man
I find the occasional flashing glimpse of lacy suspender as the wrinklies bend over to bowl a really good pigeon deterrent,

I play Crown Green during the summer , playing in the Market Drayton league and the Whitchurch league. When they are over i go to Chummies at Shrewsbury indoor bowling during the winter. washerboy
I've tried indoors and was useless but only did an hour, also found it expensive. I tried short mat but it's so painfully slow, like gods waiting room
vmaxphil
Try petanque, played all year round on rough grounds and the ends are played quite quickly also an easy game to learn a hard game to master and no uniform to wear
