washerboy
Just been issued with our new updated works handbook. Number two reason for bullying in the work place is marriage 😁.. "Oh you.. Your married you are" "you've got a dependent" Just made us question who the hell thought up this handbook

Your Mother in Law's child is no longer hers. She (or he, maybe - just being PC) is now your wife / husband. Tell her to **** off.

figgy
Yes tell your mother-in-law that her child is now yours. Then watch her start on thinking up spells and ways to make you suffer 😂 To be honest my mother-in-law was great, not the typical MIL. discobob
My M-I-L is OK in small batches - she has a very narrow view of the world backed up by great stupidity!! She thinks that I am joking with the things that I say to her (very Les Dawson'ish type comments) - the funny thing about it is that I am not joking - now that takes great skill My one yesterday for her was to ask her to stop the flying monkeys from landing on the roof as they are damaging the tiles!! Fatcatsplat
Treat your mother in law well. There's always the possibility of a sportsman's double!

sandsie1
Must say I still can't get over these "flexible hours" contracts companies seem to give out nowadays.... a low number of basic hours then expecting the employees to be available at any time during the rest of a normal 39 hour week! Oh, and apparently they aren't allowed to take on another job outside of the "contracted hours" to earn a living wage either. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Several years back my then girlfriend who was a MD for a company where i did there property/building maintenance had to declare our relationship. Even though i had done work off and on for them long before i met her. Big deal at the time. Had to stop job i was doing until cleared.
