Cornish lad
Hi ,does anybody have an opinion on these boots for all year round walking /foxing /rabbiting on foot just wondering if they would get to warm ?I tend to normally just pull on my welly’s rather than faff about with my leather boots but am getting fed up with aigle /le chameu just seem to keep splitting after a couple of years but people apparently rate these muck boots but being lined with neoprene would they get to warm?sweaty opinions gratefully recieved thanks
wisdom
Used them a lot when we had horses .Feet did get warm in them.I didn't find them as hot as in wellys. That was years ago though they may have altered the lining now as more tech appeared. Edit I got my wires crossed the ones I had were called muckers Edited August 28, 2022 by wisdom Addition
oowee
I have had 4 pairs. None lasted a year. Driving finished them off mostly. Good but I would rather phaff with laces now.
Ultrastu
I love muck boots . I'm on my second pair (still have the first but they have been relegated to site boots when it's very muddy or we are doing concrete .they must be 12 - 13 years old now . I bought my whole family muck boots for presents over the years and everyone loves them in winter for walks etc .no issues yet (5 - 6 years probably) . Recommended. I guess like anything. If you hammer them they will wear out .but clean them and put away dry and they will last .

Walker570
I have a pair for really wet going and had them a couple years now at least. No problems and do the job on the label. I normally wear slip on work shoes in summer.

Nuke
My feet sweat to much so they get very cold in muckboots. I have a pair that I use for short dog walks when it's raining, i use leather boots to keep warm. /M

Scully
Have only owned one pair ( but saying that I can’t recall ever buying the same make twice, and I’ve owned most brands over the years ) and quite liked them. My only issue was them nipping just below the ankle bone, but a pair of inserts cured that and they were as good as any other wellies I’d owned. I only ever wear boots now, and have done so for years.
30-6
My muckmasters split within a year of very little use. They are very warm, but uncomfortable from the inside seam at the heel. My friend bought a cheap pair from the German owned shop, can't remember which one, wore them in Norway fishing and said they were great.
