Thanks for all the support guys - and my thoughts go out to others that have suffered the losses as well.

For the time, we will be sticking with the one that is left - he hasn't had much of a lookin for the past year with the health of Bertie taking a priority. Also, nowadays there is pretty much someone home every day so he won't be alone (hence how we ended up with two in the first place) as when we brought our first back from Cyprus 27 years ago, and when she came out of quarantine, we were both working so got another to keep her company.

He has already been on a long walk down Loggerheads today and is now sleeping it off.
