what a shock.not like every other politician does not swindle us out of our hard earned.

I think the SNP have pushed the boundaries with this compared to other parties in recent times, vip travel, public money on yoga classes and beauty treatments.

It should shock me but it really doesn't.

She has fallen a long way from the person who boasted about an independent Scotland's finances.

She boasted about Scottish oil, without any knowledge of maritime law, or joining up with the Green party. She glossed over problems about using the Euro - with her financial expertise, who could doubt her?

Then you look at her record with SNP finances. Disaster is polite. Then you look at the SNP's record for hammering expenses. They look like the spending of a Lottery winner, who has lost sight of value for money.

I have never liked or trusted her - short on content, high on rhetoric, but I never considered that she was this bad..

I agree.  But so (in my view) was Boris Johnson.  I see a lot of similarities.  OK, the politics are poles apart, but;

  1. Both could win elections - and that's pretty near the top of a politicians list
  2. Both were/are very quick/slick in Q&A's and debates
  3. Both have 'the gift of the gab' and can tell a good story
  4. Both have very 'questionable' relationships with the truth
  5. Both have very 'questionable' expenses/personal finances (remember Johnson and loans via BBC chairman contact, redecorating flat at No 10 from donors funds)

I was never a Johnson supporter ..... except that he could win elections

Personally I think there is a vast difference, to be fair to Johnson, the Conservatives led by him did deliver on some very tough issues. Although far from perfect, he got brexit done, handled Covid and was (after ukraine themselves of course) a world leader on containing Russias invasion of Ukraine.

Johnson may have been a bit naughty on the way, bent the truth ect, which I don't agree with, but compare that to the SNP under sturgeon, what has she achieved? Absolutely nothing, not even her own devisive goals. All she appears to have done is spew hate, achieved nothing and utterly fleeced the tax payer for her own ends.

Agree,  She can only wish she'd been successful.

About all she did was bang on about independence,  nothing else.

And spending money is the easiest thing in the world when you don't have to earn it, and know you won't be held accountable for it.

I'll bet she gets away Scott free.
