chunk
My Jacko has no interest in them at all. I take her for a late night walk over the rec, where there is the odd pillock letting off rockets but nose was to the ground hunting as usual. dazzyboi
My dog loves them, we had a great view of the display down our way, we have one of those open out windows. me and the dog were up watching them
fortune
My 2 Spaniels are completely steady under gunfire. so a firework doesn't worry them at all. I stood out in the garden and we watched the stuff go up. They sat at heel, their heads cocking from one side to the other. I recon that they look foward to it. bullterrier
My first Bullterrier used to watch them with a great deal of interest, my current Bullterrier could sleep through an artillery barrage & is totally oblivious to them but my young Staffy bitch turns into a jibbering wreck (shame really because she`d have made a great stalking dog but doesn`t like loud cracks). Pedro
The lab went nuts last night, it's not the bangs that wind him up, it's the fact that we're out having a good time and he's locked in the kitchen - or should be My daughter accidently let him out just as I'd set off one of those "block" type fireworks that send up loads that go wheeee then bag, (use your imagination). The stupid dog only tried to grab it with his mouth whilst it was mid flow. I crapped myself thinking that this was this was the end of the dog or a very expensive vets bill, but thankfully he had a teeny bit more sense than I gave him credit for and left it alone. Bloody close though P.
Lost Magpie
my staff trys to headbutt its way through the backdoor when they go off so shes in the front room out of harms way My Staff's exactly the same... she'll try to dig her way in to the smallest of spaces and shivers & pants like mad! Ditto. Some quirky students were letting them off in the back lane close to my house on Sunday night when I came in. The fall out of this was my staff had tried to dig his way out through the passage carpet, blood everywhere and a big hole in the carpet with a sprinkling of **** just to top things off...great, just what i needed
