there is talk that starmer is going to attempt to cancell the local elections........sounds a bit iffy...fake news maybe ?

It is thought that may be done if he pursues his plan for Mayors and devolution, no need for elections if change is coming.

A rushed through proposal asking councils to submit their proposals to be considered for Devolution. It is being done quickly for damage limitation (it was part of their manifesto).

I will say, living in a devolved region that it is the most hairbrained scheme going and is in fact a hangover from EU membership where the PTB there wanted regions rather than countries to remove the identification with a country

Neither.

It will affect those in power ie Liebor, the change won't highlight how many local seats he's going to loose.

At least that's how I understand it.

There will be losses but far far less because of condensing the councils.

Well, the big petition that got over 3 million votes is up for debate tomorrow apparently in the government.

That will take place during the 15 minute coffee break, then the other 14 minutes will be spent discussing the custard creams.

Labour wont talk about something that isnt there (in their opinion)

People  with Autism don't think before  they say something .

They just say it. They don't think should I say that , might I upset someone

It's just  the way they are .

That why he is like he is then, no filter, toys out of the pram without and worry of consequence.

And being in the position he is i doubt he would retract any of the comments he has made, because it "doesn't matter" and it will make him look weaker.

Musks dad has waded into the situation now supporting his son..............

if not dealt with properly this could damage Reform badly.....

Drr I have been saying this for a while

I have been  a big follower of  Nigel for a long time.

Tommy Robinson. Does not want to get into politics.  All Nigel  had to say is Tommy has his views.  I respect them.

Same with Tice openly  calling Tommy out. He could have also said. Tommy has his views and I respect  that

Tommy has a mass following in this country  and getting larger all the time.  So popular  that's  why Labour wanted him locked away . First we had Douglas Murray  supporting Tommy

Then the Canadian Jordan Peterson . That interview with Tommy was quite an eye opener what was going on in this country .

Now Elon siding  with Tommy .

I belive the first cracks that started  with Reform  was the fall out with  Nigel and. Ben Habib. A man I have  the most respect. For  and would have been  a better leader of Reform.

Reform  needs to sort  itself  out fast or it Is going to loose loads of membership

With this grooming gang  all coming out now,  what better time to all get together and do something about this  than all this willy waving . Nigel needs to think long and hard or all this will crumble. As did. Ukip.

You need to remember that Musk is autistic, so therefore focuses intently on things; and this is all over Tommy Robinson, who Musk believes, with some justification, is a political prisoner.

Farage has continually disowned TR.

He/Reform could do with the 10 million dollars.

You couldn’t make all this Farage, Musk, Robinson and Co. stuff up😆

I respect the empire Musk has built but he really needs to keep his nose out of politics.

It’s gonna be an interesting year.

I think that Musk' key reason for all of this, is the protection of free speech.

He put his money where his mouth is in buying Twttter (X).
