Proposed dog ban Wales

I really do wonder what’s going on most days.

Wales is a basket case and we’re heading that way too - seen all the economic data today? Growth? They’re delusional and everyone but them read the tea leaves and knew the budget would tank the economy. I digress.

Back to Wales; they have to hit rock bottom and everyone who backed the current bunch of rabid loons have to acknowledge the mess created and hand over to a Thatcher or Trump.

In certain parts of Wales which enjoy a high migrant settler.........they are unhappy about the ammount of dogs that are owned and worked by the local populace...and so as not to upset them further and insult them a proposed ban of dogs in certain areas has been tabled......

This is highly unlikly to go thro to law....but having got this far is astonishing.......what will be next....a ban on the word christmas.... and pubs banned from selling alcoholic beverages.................im joking of coarse but have my serious face on

this is quite worrying

To be honest, dog owners / walkers are among some of the most selfish people. Not all, not even the majority, but some definitely are.

Nowhere near as selfish as the cyclists who rode straight through the local town remembrance parade last Sunday. Yellow jerseys, racing bikes, head down **** up, I’m in the Tour de France, scattered the local girl guides.

Yes cyclists too. They have a sense of self entitlement as well

I certainly don't think it's exclusive to dog owners. You will find selfish people from all walks of life in every town and city from every country around the globe.

Even some of the joggers seem to have the divine right to go in a straight line at the same speed they are jogging , most of them are ok and if they are jogging towards me I tell my dog to sit and it's up to them to run round or pass him , some will say good dog but the others will tut and look at there watch to see if they have lost half a second

In do exactly the same particularly when the path is in a field

Most of the times I come in contact with joggers is on a fairly narrow path around the top of a river wall , if I see them coming towards me then I try and make them enough room to get pass but I have also got as much right as they have to be using the footpath , like I say the majority are alright but you will always get the odd one who think you shouldn't be using the path , no doubt at sometime they might had stood in some dogs shxx

Crikey what a miserable lot we are on here. We don't like dog, walkers ,cyclists, runners indeed anyone doing anything anywhere near us. 🤣

Not miserable just requiring, shall we say, equal treatment.  No one is "entitled" to priority on a footpath regardless of the speed they are moving or what they are doing, although some seem to think they are.  We have many off-road cyclists who seem to think footpaths are there for their sole benefit to the extent that we suspect they remove the "pinch stiles" put in to stop them and stock.
