TIGHTCHOKE
I'm sat here drinking a very good vintage port, I don't need to chill out. Thank you

Thank you Port on a Thursday night!!!! Why did you kick off about wasting time and money?. Clearly you’ve got tonnes of both to burn. My kinda man. TIGHTCHOKE
I didn't "kick off" about anything. You stated earlier that you had been and felt underwhelmed, but you're going again, that makes little sense to me. Don't you have good port on a Thursday evening? I am out tomorrow night so will not be able to drink as I will have to drive

udderlyoffroad
Whilst £35 doesn’t get you far these days, I’m not going to bother as both the show in Harrogate in May & the Game Fair is free entryfor BASC members. Think if I can get out I’ll have a wonder round the farm or get some trigger time on the air rifle instead. I do always wonder about people complaining about the food prices. Seemingly people entrusted with firearms certificates can’t manage a butter knife to make themselves a packed lunch. 😂

oldypigeonpopper
Hello, At £35 entry / Petrol / Time on Road / Food / Cost for a Family, i do not think they will get the numbers they expect to attend
Kev1gun
On the Basis I have attended the last 2 shows and not bought anything, I don't see the need to attend this year. The show seems to have a lot less stall holders than before Covid. Shooting is a shrinking industry, with all the hassle of obtaining a certificate and lead ammunition being phased out. Biggest downside last year was how busy it was.

All the time they over charge for stalls and entry they are just speeding up their own demise.
Lloyd90
I went years ago, the stalls were higher priced than their own stuff online … when I pointed it out they told me to buy online then … so I did. Senseless.
BobbyH
As above, with all of the online shopping and browsing, is there any point in going? I would much rather go to an organised meet like a car boot for 'outdoor sporting' where you can get bargains, cheap stuff and the odd amazing buy! Sadly, i dont think there is such thing.
