tinbum71
Here in Cornwall it was 19C Today, gonna be 16C tommorow. Rain's been mediocre and I'm wondering... If this is global warming, can we send it back? Anyone else find that the summers are getting worse?

tinbum71
Hmm. Maybe that's the problem. I grew up in Burnham and remember it being sunny and warm pretty much all summer. Could it be that different from one side of the country to the other? I lived in Darlington for 7 years, that was wet and colder, but I expected that. Just want some sun to play on the beach! It will be, compared to the rest of the UK, warmer and you will get 3-5mm of snow every 5 years or so.

dusk2dawn
Well here on the Costa del Kent we have had over a week of continuous sunshine, had to water the flowers most evenings and the ground is showing signs of drought, crop fields have 1" cracks everywhere, its a wonder the plants are finding water but then the early morning dew is quite heavy. Its the north/south divide as far as the weather is concerned, my father lives in mid Wales and he seldom has a day without cloud or drizzle. I feel sorry for anyone from Kent who has paid a small fortune recently to have a holiday in the sun, England has alot to offer (but lets not delve too deeply into the political aspect) to anyone who appreciates our green and pleasant land. Enjoy it, Christmas and the cold wet stuff is fast approaching Already I have seen signs outside pubs etc saying "book your Xmas office party" D2D
