  1. Past hour
  2. No - nothing has raided any of the duck tubes at all in the 5 years or so we have been doing them What i do now as well is once the first broods have come from them - refurb them rather than wait until next year and we can have more than 1 brood in each every year
  3. Yes indeed, over £100 and you get another level of protection.
  4. I cant do much about predators, we only have hoodie's ravens and otters, do you find crows get into the duck tubes
  5. You can give yourself more protection by buying things with a credit card - anything over £100 from memory and, should things go boobs up, your credit card company is equally liable for any problems, you do not need to get into debt, put it on the credit card (or even just a deposit) then pay the card off as soon as possible. Anything goes wrong and the dealer messes you around and go do a "section 75" claim against the card company and they will deal with your seller whilst refunding you.
  6. I do fish scolopax trout and salmon, started tying my own flies. I shoot clays, stalk deer ,wildfowl rough shoot and have a gun in a small syndicate. I usually read through the threads here for enjoyment and have done so for years before posting.I’d far rather be doing any of those things than be posting here and being given the run around by someone not sufficiently informed to defend his actions for failing to fully represent the average shooter and instead favouring those with commercial interest in what to me is a working man’s relaxation. I choose to post to draw attention to the inadequacy of the defence of shooting sports. Perhaps we should not be so ready to accept defeat. I’ve always thought compromise was the way forward but not the total capitulation that BASC would have us accept because they lack the gumption to negotiate on our behalf. I’m not for meekly accepting the half truths and emotive propaganda being used to drive forward restrictions on my way of life unbelievably by our own organisations Especially when there is no statistical evidence to quantify the harm being avoided to the environment should we have to accept any proposed restrictions. That’s it in a nutshell Scolopax and Conor has spent 13 pages here and numerous pages more on other threads avoiding addressing that. Thanks clangerman 👍
  7. My next Question to the Police Crime Commissioner will be "Is it Racially Motivated " as from Italian Descent just to see if i get an answer back
  8. Its gets addictive - the more you do the more you want to do This last few years i have been having a massive push on predator control - not just the usual foxes or crows - but rats The only thing i have not got on top of is the stoats if im being honest
  9. No offence taken, especially as I'm guilty of not reading the small print. I will look at this as I thought it was tight for the price as its more than 3 times the price I paid for my first ever new car🙄
  10. Looks very tasty - not sure on the Macaroni though, I'm quite comfortable using Pasta but I have no idea how it works. Read you post regarding your wife Ditchy, what can I say? Sounds like you went through hell, glad to find you have a brilliant sense of humour and have found some pleasure in cooking. Respect.
  11. Don't let a dealer fob you off with the old 12 month warranty rubbish, As long as you have done nothing to damage the scooter then the law says you are protected for up to 5 years via the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I wish more people would take the time to read the CRA, you will be surprised at how much protection the law gives you (not a criticism of you Mabel, just a general comment)

  14. Thank you but as my days out are getting fewer the economics are on the side of the bottles, not to mention the convenience. Thank you. The rate of fire is of no real consequence; it was the reliability I was after

  19. Obsessed. maybe try going out shooting or fishing? They are both typical occupiers of time for males with obsessive tendencies. You may even find them enjoyable.
