Great cartridges which I used a lot in the early 70's. Good fun at dusk / on dark days as they used to spout about 4 feet (1.22M for the pc brigade) of flame. out the end of the barrel. Also, if you cut a cartridge open and pour the shot on the top of a glass table, none of the shot would roll off the edge because it was so out of round. All that said, I don't recall as many pricked birds as I see today.

I have a 20+ year old Schoffel Ptarmigan that, when it eventually dies, I will immediately buy another - I think the "extreme" is the new equivalent. It's an excellent coat with mine having been through thousands of blackthorn hedges, brambles +++ and is still wind and waterproof. It gets NikWaxed (tech wash and then the second TX direct wash) twice a year. I also have a Musto wildfowler camo GORE-TEX coat with bib & brace trousers - both of a similar age to the Schoffel - but IMHO the Schoffel is a better coat.

In our current house we have John Lewis Broadband which is broadband provided by Plusnet - but with a dedicated John Lewis customer service (i.e. quality) help line. In a fairly remote property currently under construction, the only real choice for fast broadband is provided by Gigaclear - which is a great product although the install process and customer service are beyond dire BUT with Vonage VOIP added you can port your existing landline number (of any area code) to your new address and it will tandem ring your mobile wherever you are for free.
