  1. There is a reason they are the biggest electrical retailer in Europe, and bad service isn't one of them..... But you should stick with who you are happy with, as will millions of other customers will with their choice of retailer.
  2. The Thermos Work series quote 24hrs hot or cold. I only had it with a coffee for 8 hrs and it was what seemed to be the same temperature as I’d made it.
  3. Thanks gents. Got myself the Thermos Work series flask and worked fantastic. After a whole day out in freezing conditions, there was less than half a cup of coffee left in the flask when I got home, and it was piping hot. My last flask didn’t perform anything like this. Thanks again for for the suggestions Cos
  4. My flask seems to have died a death and no longer retains heat My Shooting kit has improved greatly over the years where I have upgraded almost everything. The flask is something I haven’t really invested in and so looking for something decent this time around. Used for coffee only. What at would you recommend to be the best for holding temperature the longest? about average size is good, nothing monstrously big. Cos
  5. Love the new format. First time looking from m the mobile and it looks excellent. Great work Teal, I know what goes into doing something like this, great success in my opinion. Cos
  6. Apologies, but this request is now cancelled. Having just spoken to Mark Robson, he filled the remaining gun slots with two people. Cos
  7. Apologies, but this request is now cancelled. Two friends and myself have booked a Goose shooting break with Mark Robson of http://www.pigeonalldaylong.com/goose-shooting.html in November 2018. Our trip is booked for 3 days (2 nights) consisting of: Thursday November 8th 2018 Morning Goose flight + evening Duck flight Friday November 9th 2018 Morning Goose flight + evening Duck flight Saturday November 10th 2018 Morning Goose flight We're planning to drive up there and have provisionally booked accommodation (http://lomondhillshotel.com/) which was recommended by Mark. Putting it out there to see if anyone would be interested in tagging along to make it 4 people, which is the minimum number before Mark looks at adding other person/s to our group. The usual applies guys, no Rambo's, safe, insured, up for some good banter and a good sense of humour are all essential; If you don't fit this criteria please do not apply unless you are female and "well fit", because then we don't care about minor personality defects !! Please send me PM if you're interested..... Cos
  8. Is this where we can all start moaning about how much we preferred the old format, or do you have a direct dial number?
  9. Get the leather lined Aigle prestige. Super comfy, cool in the summer and you can adjust winter warmth with socks. I use the Aigle socks in really cold weather and they are just right for me. Cos
  10. Agreed sir...!!! If it was in my house, I'd catch it and release it in the garden!
  11. He got you a mortgage!! I went to the bank just to port a mortgage from one house to another. Been paying it for 9 years, never had a late payment, both me and the missus had same jobs as when we applied. All for a mortgage of around 15% the value of the house. The hoops we had to jump through were incredible. They even asked me how much pocket money I gave the kids, how much my 5 a side Footie costs me each week!! Its not easy getting a mortgage any more.
  12. I bought this except with 4ah batteries https://www.manomano.co.uk/power-tool-packs/makita-dlx2145tbj-18v-lxt-2-piece-combo-kit-black-2x50ah-4032601
  13. I consider myself as a serious DIYr hence opting for the professional range of you like. Plus I like my tools
  14. I had three of the old 7.2v Makitas. Used them six days a week for years, fantastic drills. All the batteries died around the same time. I went on to waste my money on copy batteries, B&Q Dewalt £99 jobs. By that time I wasnt using them for Work and only DIY, and they were all rubbish. Bought a quality twin 18v drill/driver and impact Makita set and havent looked back. Will probably last me a lifetime now with DIY use only. Smaller, lighter and more powerful. Ive since added body only planer and SDS drill without the need for more batteries. Now buying body only Im getting quality tools for little money
  15. Rotary because I rarely shoot without it
  16. The seller would still be liable to pay all the Estate agents fees even if Chimp goes direct. Handling your own sale is like a can of worms!! Estate agents get a let of deserved stick, but equally both buyers and sellers are often just as scrupulous!!

  18. Not sure the EA has done anything wrong and I wouldnt advise negotiating directly either. Firstly EAs dont like that and you want them on your side and secondly you have no idea how the seller will take you knocking on the door uninvited. Get your house one the market. Only once you have a buyer will you know your exact situation once you have a view of the complete chain. And regards next door, it didnt sell after five days, an offer was made and accepted. Theres a whole load to get done before that House is sold, and every situation is different.

  20. Another post based on jealousy and envy! Yawn......
  21. I think what will eventually happen is the police have a deal with the doctors and the cost will get added to the licence fee. At the end of the day NHS doctors already have enough work to do, so I cant see how we can begrudge them charging something. That said, the price should be fixed because at the moment it seems they can charge what they want. Cos
  22. Was this for Saturday gone? Send me a PM if its Saturday coming....
  23. So we thaw inside and after tomorrow when electrician wires in new fuse box, we will have two fridges for the family anyway. Dog will have one draw space which isn't ideal, but we buy locally so no issue going to the shop every two weeks. A good point though to consider when deciding to go raw, it is a faf compared to Kibble.
