  1. I've changed from Kibble twice a day to morning feed Kibble and evening feed raw and I can see a difference. Since being snipped he became greedy and always wanting food. Inevitably he put weight on so I put him on a diet of no treats and just his Kibble. He shed the weight but was bloated on the stomach. After asking the same question here I started on raw feeding half his food and the bloating has almost gone. He's also a lot calmer. Once I sort out the freezer situation I will almost certainly go all raw. It worked for me.

    Pigeon WATCH

Definitely not. I was there in January and the watches are cheaper in the UK by a fair margin.
  3. Didn't you ask the price before handing your car over?

    Pigeon WATCH

Very nice, I like its simplicity

    Pigeon WATCH

Just looked at the Avenger. Think I would have preferred it with a yellow bezel rather than stainless, but watches are so personal, you have to go with what you like. If you like loud, have a look at the orange bezel Omega Planet Ocean, has a black face with orange numerals and orange bezel. http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Omega/Planet%20Ocean/232.30.42.21.01.002/23486/item/96778
  6. Had General Grabber AT2's on for around two years on as very day driving. They are quiet, handle all weather conditions well and very good on wear. Mine still look like new....and very sensibly priced

    Pigeon WATCH

I wear an Omega Aqua Terra but getting a Sub Mariner itch....on top of my Speedmaster moonwatch rash.... A phone can't replace a watch!! What's your budget? Loads of watch nuts here that can throw some ideas at you.
  8. I've heard a few reports where the camo isn't great, but if you like the look then go for it. I personally find camo guns pointless, concealment isnt an issue if your hide is built properly plus the Black synthetic has matt finish on the barrels so there is zero glare in the sun. I also like a little pigeon practice on the clays every now and again and for me the camo just looks a little out of place at the clay ground. But that's just my opinion.
  9. If I'm not mistaken there's a law where if no co test is made for ten years, the neighbours can claim the land is theirs. Get your sister to move it now to save problems later. Unfortunately for your sister it means she's paid to change their fences.
  10. I didn't see anything wrong with the video, pricked birds will and do happen as part of what we do. Camera looks awesome, crystal clear and fantastic to see exactly how the birds are taken.
  11. Mine is 28" and feels right for me, though I've used a 26" and that felt comfortable in the hide. Personally I wouldn't get a 30" as I just do t see the need for my use which is mainly pigeons. You really need to handle the guns in their various lengths to see what suits you. Out of interest, why are you opting for the camo and not synthetic black?
  12. Another for the A400 Xtreme Never had a jam, not fussy on cartridges, shoulders well and soft on the recoil. Strips down in seconds right down to the trigger mechanism and easy to clean. Pick one up before you decide, it's not light so possibly not a gun for you if you are slightly built.
  13. If I had a penny for every time I've read "people with expensive guns can't shoot as well as I can with a cheap one".....but people "hobbling about" in expensive wellies That's a new one even for me
  14. Ah This is what happens when looking on the mobile and not reading the whole post!! I didn't think JD was that good looking

    House Prices

That depends on the area you are buying and the Capital gain you are likely to make. Having bought in London I know my annual return can seem on the low side but the investment grows at such a rate that it's still worth it.
  16. Highbird is a top bloke and extremely passionate for snipe and woodcock shooting. I know how hard he works on organising great days out. Well done mate, we have lost touch for a while but hope you and your family are all well. Cos

    House Prices

It's all about Location. Even if you think the prices are too high for the area, it takes just one developer to stretch the market and a president is set. It also raises prices around it, so benefit is there more so for the the people who don't spend anything on their houses as their net profit soars in comparison.

    Scotch Guard

Some PW massif expertise required again!! Looking at buying some fabric kitchen stools but thinking about staining. Leather would be a wiser choice me thinks but being these will be situated in front of a wall of glass and we have the sun beaming in most the day, I'm thinking the leather will fade and crack. Has anyone used any DIY Scotch Guard type product which you can recommend?
  19. I don't have working knowledge as such, but know people who have/had them all and very good reliable and capable cars. Fuel efficiency details are easily found on the likes of autotrader, but make sure you look at year model that is in your budget because the efficiencies do vary with newer technology. Cos
  20. The magnet is excellent and I rarely set up without one. Have a look at the stickies in shooting tips section. If I remember correctly there are some diagrams from Beardo. An easy layout is two random patterns in front of the hide, 4-5m apart. If the decoys at say 25m out, place the magnet in between but 5m closer to the hide. That's just one way, just watch the birds reactions and if you need to just change it until you see the birds commit to your kill zone.
  21. SOLD as seen from a private seller means exactly that, it's a different law when a trade dealer is selling a car.
  22. Why didn't you help your mother in law sell it privately! Effort spent doing that rather than this would have got her more than the 900 she wanted.
  23. That's very funny in a twisted way
  24. This is going to sound harsh especially because you sound like a nice guy, but it's what comes to mind! You sound like you have complex issues and whilst wifey conforms to your every desire things in your eyes seem OK; But being she has broken the mould so to speak, you are giving her the cold shoulder and waiting for her to come grovelling back. I think you need to think very hard about how you handle this, because she could end up asking you to leave!! Maybe your wife just wants to have some fun? Whilst that might not be your idea of fun, why not try to introduce something you both enjoy? Do you have fun? More importantly, does your wife have any fun in her life with you? Does your wife have more fun with her mates than she does with you? try answering that to yourself, but then ask her as well! Only you know the answers, but you need to try and look at your marriage from her perspective. Something to consider, just because you're a good husband doesn't necessarily mean your wife has a happy marriage!!
