pm Mick-he usually has a few of these lying around and you will struggle to find a nicer guy to deal with-prices as keen as mustard to boot. -
When you find the answer can you let me know? My bad patch is now 35 years long.

first timer sloe gin how to make it - a dummys guide!
bruno22rf replied to jamie101's topic in Food and Drink
I seem to recall a method on this forum that enabled the stuff to be made in next to no time-you bake the sloes then crush them to make a kind of concentrate-we did it a couple of years back and it works a treat. We used to make about 4 litres every year but now that Lidl do it for about £7-8 a bottle (and its awesome) it's simply not worth the hassle anymore. -
Why would he NOT have it evo?-its right next to the "for a good time ring" graffiti in most Telephone boxes

Hard to decoy pigeons into some trees but "sitty" trees (where birds tend to land to scan the area) are another matter-time spent simply watching the birds is time well spent. Other best way is to look at where the birds roost-check the ground for droppings but be aware that birds will roost in thicker cover when its colder so move from one tree to another depending upon conditions.

For your eyes only, greg52, evo,s affair with Daystate is easy to understand if you take a quick look on Ancestry.com- parents names; Bella Emburg & Tony Belas- if you ever get to meet him you will know just where he gets his looks from-he gets his love of Air Rifles from the other one

I would remove my number if I were you-you don't know who's out there.

What's best for removing dribble from a Laptop screen?. -
What a shame to see her grounded after the immense pleasure she has given those lucky enough to see/hear her-if she was Bruce Forsyth or some other piece of useless titled lovely then I'm sure that some entertainment charity would support her. Another memory of the days when our nation had balls gone for good

Read the small print-some don't cover boilers over 5 years old but forget to mention the fact.

16g is technically the perfect gauge to throw 1oz of shot-when you consider the sums of money being spent on a 20g in this thread then the small increase in cartridge price is negligible-I much prefer the 16g to anything else and in its current unfashionable situation there are bargains to be had.

How long has the mortgage been running? To be legally binding the ER fee must have been bought to your attention when you signed the paperwork.

Massive failure IMHO-had the audience coverage and the potential to promote UK fieldsports but has totally lost way like a **** in the wind (but less entertaining). The cringe worthy attempt at audience participation highlights the inadequacy of the producer beyond all doubt and I would suggest that the sponsers of the show start considering the effects of being associated with the entire shebang whilst it feels comfortable airing tarts shooting big game.

Did not read the whole post so my bad-as for you taking offence at my mistake-(comment removed)

I've had the same Coleman SS flask for nearly 20 years-still watertight, still keeps tea hot...bloody indestructable.

Still waiting for anything revolutionary from FX, Big Gnat,-if I suddenly get the desire to shoot arrows then I will buy a Bow-as for smooth twist barrels-they were in use in the 1800's so nothing new there besides the fact that that any appreciable gain in accuracy is negligable in airgun terms-might make a difference over half a mile but not many full bore shooters are rushing out to replace their tubes so I guess that I will side with them. As for many AA's being for sale I am rather confused-being the first person in the line when stupid was handed out even I can see that if you sell a shed load of magic beans then, after a while, there's gonna be beans for sale at bargain prices (and trust me-there are some AA's for sale that are a steal-even if they don't shoot arrows) so there's why not many FX's are up for grabs yet-but they will be, and the original buyer will lose the same amount of beer money as the seller of an AA-if not more. The next step forward? in the puffgun world will be fully auto PCP's where each pull of the trigger sends another blast of pellets towards the target-but why? Airguns have reached their zenith and can do anything that you could ever ask of them.

I have been shooting Airguns for a similar period of time-I currently use the AA S410 that, apparently, has not "moved with the times". My S410 has never let me down in anyway shape or form in the approx. 3 years since I bought it, it shoots far more accurately than I could ever hope to match and kills as clean as anything on the market, sub 12ft/lb, as long as I do my bit. Instead of being behind the times I consider the fact that the design is well proven and reliable to be a massive advantage-so why would I change it for an FX? What earth shattering advances have FX made that would revolutionise my shooting? There are makers out there that seem to change the colour of their screw heads every year and proclaim the birth of a new model-the inevitable rush to buy ,by the fools that are, then fund the company for yet another years back patting session while the new gun owners puff out their chests and wander around feeling like they have witnessed the second coming of the Lord. The birth of the PCP has been the singular noteworthy advance in the Airgun world for many years-the myriad of tiny "advances" achieved by salesmen rather than engineers are simply trinkets to tempt those who find themselves easily parted from their money.ps you might consider checking your spelling of weihrauch

I find it hard to believe that the wire brush would fall in exactly the right orientation and that the barrel would align perfectly enough to permit re-insertion by simply putting the gun back in the slip-the odds are very slim-I would suggest that the brush was never removed by the Gunsmith, for whatever reason, in the first place.

I have posted many action and fore-ends to be refinished at the advice of my FLO-according to him its simply an gun part going for repair/restoration-it is NOT a gun as it cannot possibly be fired? I also know of other people doing the same under the advice of FLO's in different areas

With that kind of budget you would be mad not to buy an English gun-there are loads of articles and dealers that would give you sound advice on what to look for-something made between 1890 and 1930 would be a good starting point-sidelock, obviously, and London built to boot should find you a gem that will be a great investment as well as a piece of living history-these guns were built by the finest makers the world has ever known and are over engineered to a ridiculous standard-spares, other than basic parts, are rarely going to be needed and the feeling of handling a piece that may well have been used a hundred years ago by a titled gentleman is something that a Spanish gun will never come close to giving you-don't be in a hurry-spend wisely.

Do you know anyone who lives in Germany? If so then they could buy a standard spring and post it to you?
