We have yet to play our hand, military wise, but before we do we need to see if our Land Rover will start.

One of the most powerful pistols in the UK-accurate as well until they moved production to Mexico and added a plastic breach-still proudly boasts "made in the usa" but its not-and the breach has ruined a great gun

Is there not an app that you can download that enables you to totally disable your phone via your laptop?
-
Can you not do it yourself? It really is not difficult and will save you a fortune-even if you have to buy a few tools to do the job. Use the old door as a template and away you go.....

Normally thousands of these in a small wood that I shoot-the floor is covered with them-but the wood is called "plum wood" - just to add to the confusion.

Their website has a list of the wines they sell by name-bit of detective work should sort you out.

But they don't have the same energy do they? Speed is largely dictated by the charge at short range and the 6 is carrying more kinetic energy than the 9 surely?
-
So how many of us pop into our local before going Rabbit blatting and buy a slab of 9's-no-one in their right mind would even consider it-only way you would do it is if that's all you had left and even then why on earth would you buy a shell with a payload that would restrict your range?? At 20 yards you can use 6's and simply aim a little high so not to obliterate the target. Jesus wept 9's on Rabbits is ***** and everybody knows it.

Biggest fear I had pre transplant was the question of pain-its something that you can somehow feel a little weak if you ask-almost seems inevitable and even ungrateful to ask for as much pain relief as possible-if your wife is worried then please tell her that it is not going to be a major problem-her elation at everything being over will keep her spirits way above any minor pain that she may encounter-her biggest enemy is going to be boredom as she recovers. If you want to help her then plan as many visits from as many friends as possible to keep her spirits up-she may fall asleep during many such occasions and never remember them but they were crucial to me and kept me sane. Give her my very best wishes and assure her that the effects of immune suppressant drugs are dulled by time-she will have a future and that is worth the world and then some.

9 shot on Rabbits?
-
I'm guessing that she has been totally restored fairly recently-I have a Belgian gun that is virtually identical-I wonder if they were made abroad and simply finished by the Pape workshop? Bit surprised it wasn't proofed for 3" while being done-unless my eyes deceive me its stamped 65mm?

Made to measure/alterations stock company's.

I'm right handed but lost my right eye after 30 years of shooting so I switched to the left shoulder-its awkward at first but you soon become accustomed to it-none of my shotguns are LH and I do fine-different with a rifle though. -
Might help with the misfires if you cock or half cock the hammer before you put the powder and shot wad down the tube-seems to force powder into the nipple in my experience-used to suffer a similar problem with my .45.

If you consider the VW situation in a different light then all they have done is manufacture vehicles that pass a set of tests to the very best of the vehicles ability? I'm guessing that, if you were really concerned about your cars emissions, then the total emissions per, say 1000 miles, are available? Tin hat on .......

Didn't have too many problems when he started a new topic 3 minutes earlier

I have an opinion concerning your hijacking this thread,homzi1981,but it would be removed by the mods.

Hold off buying till you have around £250 cash-then search for a used TX200-I would suggest .177 but no doubt others will be along to suggest my allegiance with the Devil. If you buy wisely you will not only enjoy using one of the finest guns ever made-but you will, most likely, get back what you paid for it so that little extra allows you technically to shoot for free.
-
I'm in a similar situation but with the added problems of bad breath and constant flatulence to deal with every evening-the dog hates it and we both go and sit in the dining room and leave the wife to it.

I use a 1900-1904 English hammergun for most rough shooting but keep a modern 525 for clays-other guns I use as often as possible are an early 1900's .410 sxs hammergun and a Pollard sidelock from god knows when-nothing touches an English sxs from the early 20th century.

Totally agree-amazing piece of kit-my daughter had pictures published (of insects) after using one of these camera's during her A levels

Never had any problem with bits of wire wool falling off in my barrels-I will however let my Gunsmith (ex barrel maker for Boss & co.) know of this potential pitfall as he uses the very same method.
-
It will smoke like a woodbine if someone has put 2 stroke in it but should still run if you keep the revs up and put more petrol in to dilute the 2 stroke-if its stopped try cleaning the plug.
-
If they only have a spring in the bottom barrel-why is the top pin "springing back"?
-
Try a bore solvent-something like hopes no9 and a bit of wire wool wrapped around an old bronze bore brush-works every time.
