I would,nt recommend the Aldi machine because they might be cheap but spares are very hard to get although they do make very good bread and are great value. The panasonic range are best long term because you can get spares on the auction site and they are fairly sturdy.Dont buy one if you think that it will save you a lot of money-decent flour (and you will buy every type you can-like a kid in a sweet shop) is not cheap and cheap flour rarely works. In my experience if you need the bread for sandwiches you will find carving the loaf easier with an electric knife as the bread tends to be taller and softer than your supermarket rubbish.Once you get used to your machine you will learn when the mixing cycle has finished and you can remove the paddle from the dough before baking starts-worth remembering. If you keep the machine outside of the kitchen then make sure you bring it in for a couple of hours b4 you use it as some breads are very sensitive to temperature.Hope this is of some help.

Air Arms all the way-not like me to be patriotic but they really do take some beating.

Ammo for the Brno/cz,s is simple-Eley extra subs or RWS high velocity for that bit extra-some other rounds will match the performance of both these rounds but in my opinion not over a batch of 100.

Ive got one of these-my daughter won a magazine competition with it taking a macro shot of a beetle-superb bit of kit.

Finally got my refund today-contacted my bank and paypal then suddenly the refund appears-the company is "gixxersintheblood" on the well known auction site but gsxrracing1054 to everyone else-please leave this on here cos it might save someone a whole heap of heartache.

Im assuming that the dog is insured-in which case your insurance company should be informed and sort out any legal costs.

I drink a 1/2 litre of merrydown every day-got to be one of the best if price is an issue-morrisons own vintage is also very good for the money (god what a tight wad i,ve become) other than that its got to be old rosie.

Thanks for the advice guys-cant visit him cos he,s in Barnham in Kent which is a long walk from me-think a recorded letter followed by small claims court is the way forward for now-once the *** has paid up then i,m gonna have some fun with him-on one of my shoots theres an old building that still has a working phone in it (belongs to BT)-maybe i should ring his number and then just leave the phone live for a day or so-then the ebay trick and a message from my mates dog-i,m almost feeling sorry for him.

About a month back i bought a speedo for my motorbike over the phone and paid by debit card. When the speedo arrived it was in KM/H which was useless to me so i rang the company straight away and explained the problem-no problem said the man-our mistake-send it back and we will refund you.Since then i have rang them about 20 times and get some of the most feeble excuses i,ve ever heard and its obvious now that they are having a laugh at my expense. The guy i normally speak to is the owner cos his name is listed as such but for a while he denied it and told me i needed to speak to "dave"-i tried this several times and only caught on when i spoke to a different person who laughed when i asked for dave. Now i,m mighty peed off-how do i get my revenge?-can i open an ebay account and constantly buy all his stock then not pay?-i dont care if my account get closed cos i have a proper one anyway-any suggestions would be welcome.....

Am i right in thinking that this is a new scope recently bought along with your new gun?-if so then your dealer is liable to replace it unless it has clear signs of abuse or neglect. If your dealer is trying to tell you that the damage has been done by the recoil transmitted from the firing cycle ( resting the gun on a hard surface or not) then he has sold you an item not fit for purpose.Unless it is clearly marked on the gun that resting it on such and such a surface could damage optics then i would be banging on his door right now.More details would be usefull......

Normal way this works is-they send you a copy of a genuine cheque for ,say, ten thousand pounds. They then ask you to return the money, minus your whatever percent, as soon as the cheque clears in your account (and it will show as a credit). You send them money using your account (in which you believe there to be 10k) only to find several days later that your bank has declined the cheque as it turns out to have been previously paid.Result-your account is good so you have legitimatly sent them a wad of your cash-the bank will deny any responsibility.Only way around this is to ask the bank to confirm in writing that the funds are in your account when they first appear-doubt that any bank will do this anymore cos they,ve bin had before.

If it says on the ad that its advertised elsewhere then he has a get out of jail free card-most likely scenario is that somebody was watching the item but did,nt want to get involved in a bidding war-he waited till the item ended and then p.m.,ed the seller and offered him a bit more-happens all the time. You should be able to get the sellers name and address thru ebay but i cant remember how you do it-when you,ve got it -let him know you,re on your way and will expect petrol money if the vans not there.

£50 would buy you a woman in MK-im very close to you and have never paid a penny for shooting.Just an observation.Might have been wiser to invite ,say, 5 people free of charge and then in exchange they would write a review of the day-then you would have a much stronger pitch.Good luck with it anyway-if it enables a couple of landless guns a day out then it cant be bad.

Many people never clean the bore on .22lr,s cos they seem to pick up less lead than fullbores-also , just after cleaning the bore you tend to get 2 or 3 fliers whereas leaving the bore alone never seems to significantly affect the accuracy. When i get really bored i use a length of fishing line pushed from the muzzle thru to the bolt chamber-i then tie a small piece of cloth on the end and soak it in wd40-pulled back up the bore this seems to remove everything quickly (and cheaply)-if i,m then not going to use the gun for a while i put a drop of gun oil on the last patch.

As its still under warranty im guessing that you bought it new-in which case do not attempt to fix it at all.Take it back and express your concern that its gone wrong in such a short time and that not having the gun is most inconvenient-the law is on your side so dont take any bull plop.If its losing pressur below a certain point then its not usable (unless the pressure is really low-say 20 bar)-by law they must be given the opportunity to repair the gun but this must be completed to your satisfaction and in a "reasonable" space of time.Next time buy an Air Arms!!!!

Fantastic guns but i would recommend shopping around and see if you cant pick up a multi choked version-much more versatile than fixed choke-unless the gun you are looking at is 1/4 & 3/4 chokes i would think carefully about its suitability long term-buying privatly is not a real problem with Brownings as you would need to be pretty busy to wear one out-you would get more for your cash in a private sale-just my opinion of course but we,ve all been blinded by shiny new guns.

At no point did i suggest that you needed a doctor to spot a prosthetic leg-newspapers have a knack of twisting the truth to make a story-simple fact is that to get a blue badge to need to go see your GP-if he says you need one then the council are duty bound to supply one for you-you dont need to "apply" to your council for one as such.

Is there no-one local to this fella can let him come along and hear one firing?-my .22lr with a cheap as chips parker hale moderator on it is much quieter than my airgun-on firing its just the click of the bolt followed by the thud of the impact.Use good quality subs for best results-be hard to beat Eley Extra.

Pump has most likely siezed as its bin off for a while-some have a screw head visible on the end that can be "persuaded" with a screwdriver to free up the pump internals. If you can see the pump and i.d. it then you might be able to find an answer by googling it-otherwise its a plumber ,im afraid,if you do need to replace it then next year make sure your system has inhibitor in it and run it once a month thru the summer.Dont worry too much-over the next couple of months as people start turning their heating on again plumbers up and down the country will be enjoying a bonanza of cash because of this yearly windfall.

Gonna take some flack for this but i would rate this camera as being a good match for the Canon/Nikon offerings in this class-Fuji is an often overlooked maker of some superb cameras.
-
There is most likely a lot more to this story than meets the eye-dont take everything that you read in the paper as gospel-blue badges are easy to get with your doctors consent ( his GP seems to have been left out of the story)-if your GP thinks that you need one then all it takes is a phone call from the relevant dept and bobs your uncle. No dissrespect meant in any way whatsoever to the soldier concerned but i think this story may have been "dramatised". l

Tend to agree with happyshooter-practice using your new gun until you have gained some shooting skills then ditch the xs78 and buy a S200 or similar.

I think that by teaching any child that a physical response to bullying is wrong you are setting the child up for a miserable time.No matter how we wrap up the laws of the playground the basic human instinct of violence will prevail and the weaker kids will suffer one way or another.I have drummed it into my boy that he should never hit anybody unless in defense of himself or another child that he feels needs protecting. He was taught to fight at proper martial arts classes where the teacher was always reminding the students that they must show responsibilty whenever called upon to use force. We can all argue the rights and wrongs of violence and i firmly believe that at times its use is justified-up to the age of 9 my lads school life was wretched-giving my son the ability to defend himself was my only option when the school would do nothing to help- its taken the result of 2 bruised faces to turn his life around.Teach your boy to fight-but more importantly when you,ve done so-teach him WHEN to fight.

Tasco will be more than up to the job-while you,re putting it onb why not align it correctly to tg the bore?-count the number of clicks from all the up adjustment to the other end and then half it- wind the scope adjuster the half from either extreme and mount the scope lightly-fire a couple of rounds at a target near your normal range and pack the scope mounts until you get the elecation as near as you can-simple.
