Gun collected today as planned, way better than I had imagined with a tiny mark on the wood otherwise 9/10. Absolute pleasure to meet you Richard and seeing the Falcon that you were working was a dream come true, what a truly stunning sight.

Quick someone, rip his arm off, well under priced.

As I only have one eye I bought a monocular for bird spotting etc, absolute nightmare to use, better off with binoculars as they are easier to hold steady.

Think of the good things, he could have been living in a flat with bratty kids that fed him junk, never walked him and had no time for him. Looks to me like he fell on his feet and had the life most Dogs would dream of, he should sleep contented. RIP.

This could turn into a nightmare, people on benefits are being encouraged to buy houses but what happens if interest rates climb and their benefit no longer covers their mortgage? Repossessions could be a financial nightmare for the whole country, building societies could collapse and who is going to have to pay to accommodate the then homeless? Surely if the argument that buying, in some cases, can be cheaper than renting shouldn't local councils be buying then charging rent thus creating an income?

If you have 16k of savings you cannot claim benefits surely, so how many houses are available with a 15k deposit, cheapest around here is 40k.

We have a large (by modern standards) 3 bed with a powered log cabin in the garden. Power Shower, Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer on at least twice a day with Gas central heating (old Baxi from 1974), our monthly bill is £94 but we are usually several hundred in credit, we have Solar Panels however so that helps.

Madras is a bit spicy for me although I have Madras hot Tikka Masala when we eat out. I grow "Basket of fire" chilies and these are superb in curries, the plant looks really impressive in the garden then you just top the chilies and freeze them, still using ones I grew 2 years ago!! Loving garam masala at the moment, it adds a kind of fruity taste that reminds me of Christmas and Tandoori Masala that just seems to improve everything. Since I started cooking curry my other half has abandoned the kitchen as she says I am a far better cook than her - she trained under the Ruox brothers.

I try to fry the spices and the veg for 10 minutes at least before putting into the slow cooker so flavours get a head start, it's pretty much inedible for 5-6 hours but then it all comes together. The Pataks taste pots are superb for marinating chicken over night, I have probably 30 spices and I cannot match the Tikka Masala variety, it doesn't taste anything like the restaurant item but it's bloomin good, the aroma is intoxicating. Experimenting with Dhansak at the moment.

Normally start mine in the slow cooker around 9 in the morning then we eat at 8 in the evening. I sear beef or lamb and it goes in same time as everything else but chicken I marinade over night then oven cook at 190c on skewers during the day whenever I get time, refrigerate then add to the curry about 1 1/2 hours before we eat or it falls apart during the day. Any left overs make my breakfast next morning.

You could slow cook the meat.

What an Anti- Royal short sighted view, BTW, What colour paint was it and did you film it only the jubilee is likely to dominate TV for the next week?

Used is the sensible way to go, increases your choice and quality of gun, buy from a dealer you still get a "warranty", plus it's been run in.

You have far better eyesight than me, BP PM's was the first thing I looked for.

Late 70's my final few years at school would see 2 of us rush home for a quick tea before covering God knows how many miles to empty snares, we used to prepare the Rabbits then sell them to a butcher in Aylesbury on a Saturday morning, he used to put them in his mince!! Thinking back we were always planning ways of catching Rabbits but these were the days when the field seemed to crawl with the high numbers, Myxy took away all of that in a matter of months.

My bad, we are on the expired FIT system, looks like new installation's will be paying out under £200/year under the smart export guarantee. Looks like the government have killed solar energy.

You can use Prednisolone as a low dose base drug, I have been on it for over 5 years for Arthritis, I'm on a low dose of 5mg/day but if I get a flare I can increase it to 20mg for several days till any swelling reduces. All drugs have side effect but at 5mg/day they are insignificant compared to being in agony and unable to walk.

IMHO they are worth it if you have spare cash, if you allow 7-8 years to get your initial outlay back then you're looking at 17 years average of around £800-1k/year payback. If you can, go for uprated panels, ours give 25% more output than standard but were pennies more to buy.
-
Speak to your vet about Prednisolone, it's an anti inflammatory steroid that's cheap as chips (should be well under £10 for a months supply), you could give a low background dose of 5mg/day or just give it when she is actually suffering at a higher dose.

3 shot dead over the last 2 weeks, 2 were youngsters, one was a skinny little runt.

Dhansak usually has pineapple juice in it as a sweetener, I put chunks in as well and increase the chilli. Always find with curry that cooking the chicken on skewers is best, 190 deg C for 9 minutes then turn skewer for another 9, put a couple of tablespoons of water in the catch pan to keep the meat moist. If you are looking for a cheap easy marinade then the Pataks flavour pots are very good (Aldi 2 for 99p) the Tikka Masala is superb just empty the pot into a sealable plastic bag with a teaspoon of oil and a tablespoon of lemon juice, pop in your chicken chunks, seal and leave as long as you can, give the bag a good massage every time you go to the fridge.
