Talking about bikes - just picked up a 1997 Ducati ST2 from the bay of plenty for £1k - even more of a bargain when you consider that she's done less than 2.5k miles in her 23 years (old mot's prove mileage is genuine) - stunning condition, just wish I could get my leg over the blooming thing!

Tesco mince beef and onion (tin) + Tin of spuds + tinned mixed Veg, we call it slop, dip bread in it and it's gorgeous! Aldi tinned curry is good and rice is easy to boil , Big Soups are sometimes on offer for £1 and Eggs are cheap and versatile.

I own and use a Wildcat but I would not recommend one if you are a relative beginner to the Air Rifle scene. The scope rail on these is pretty high and makes range estimation and relevant hold over/under more critical than on a ,say, S510.

Who said I was speeding? If you want to get judgemental and jump on your high horse showing heart wrenching examples to justify your opinion then jog on - doesn't make you a legend either.

S510 carbine US - not a thumbhole but new just a shade under £1k for the regulated version.

I always give them the middle finger and speed up - had a couple of letters from the police regarding reports sent by the local "Speed watch" group so I wrote to the group telling them exactly what I thought of them and mentioning that no serious accidents involving speed had ever been reported on that piece of road and that they were likely to cause an accident by distracting drivers.

Most likely made in Brum but sold through the Norwich shop, uneducated guess though. -
Let them know, in writing, that you are unhappy about the reliability of the vehicle. Advise them that you have been ,so far, reasonable and have followed the advice given by the manufacturer and have made the vehicle readily available for them to inspect and repair but the situation is now costing you financial loss and damaging your business as you are reluctant to travel any distance. They should clearly be informed that you will give them one final opportunity to fix the vehicle or you will return it and demand a full refund.

Might be worth remembering that just becuse you fill your feeders with a mountain of Beluga Caviar flavoured Walnuts, it doesn't mean they will feed - lots of variables with squirrels on feeders.

Had one many years ago and it did look pretty, but it was also obvious that the quality was somewhat lacking with the wood losing its lustre after a couple of years and the metal seemingly quite soft. You say that you wouldn't lean a 525 etc against a post but then nor should you lean a £50 Balkal against one - simply bad practice. Personally I would go for a used quality gun every time - but it needs to fit first and foremost, many who feel that a Browning becomes an extension to their arm will find a Beretta makes then feel disjointed and vice versa so try before you buy.Older Miroku's can be picked up fairly priced and are generally sound investments. As for appearance, I think I know what most shooters think about cheap guns in fancy clothes - the quality of a gun speaks volumes and its often what you cannot see that gives the gun class rather than what you can.

All 3 should have their licences revoked and do time - this is the truly unacceptable side of shooting.

I had a very similar problem with my local surgery, I started getting letters from TVP saying that my application still hadn't been returned and that time was running out. I had already rang the surgery 3 times then the final time I rang and asked the Practice Manager to call the Firearms dept and explain the delay, I also told him that, if my guns had to go into storage (13 of them) then I would take legal action to reclaim my costs - guess what was ready next day!!

Used to get hundreds of them near a stream where I was born in Bucks - not seen one now though for 25 years or so.

Light as a feather my KOFS but cartridges can be expensive - buying in bulk saves loads though.I use 19g 7's and recoil is barely noticable - if you do buy a KOFS make sure you see it in the flesh - seen some with terrible wood whilst others are pretty good. Mine does everything I ask of it, trigger is good and ejection is positive, only thing I don't like is the 30" barrels (you can get 28") - they are quite heavy compared to the action which makes the gun front heavy.
-
Have a look at the KOFS Sceptre - in 28 or 410 gauge, multi choke - buy the normal model then, for less than £70, you can buy a brand new walnut junior stock and simply bolt it on - should pick one up for under £400 used.

Easy enough to do yourself but if you need a decent pest guy then Hunter Pest Services in Buckingham are very good - 07976802326.

Beggars belief - some Black dude gets killed in America and this Country is up in arms - but bring a known terrorist into the country and nothing.......
-
Triggers on mine are pretty good, if anything a little light, - easy enough to whip the stock off and take a look - although now I can add your findings to my book of excuses as to why I keep missing things.

You can get a Gunsmith to grind down the Hammer springs - makes them more pleasant to use. -
Now the lads been mentioned on here, he could go on Celebrity Masterchef - cannot be any worse than the detritus they have on this season - first time ever I've found it too ridiculous to even flick through.

Oddly enough I was in a similar position about 20 years ago (omg - how time flies), had read countless accounts in the Airgun rags about people having to Bulldoze heaps of dead Rats into pits and there was me - hardly ever seen a Rat. I was actually contemplating this sorry state of affairs on my way home when a big ugly Rat ran across the road in front of me! Anyhoo, couple of days later, returning from a Pigeon outing, my mate and I happened upon a Farm that was black with Crows - fortunately the owner was standing at the gate chatting.Brief introductions over we were given permission to shoot the crows but, as the owner explained, Rats were his main problem. We were dubious to start with, a few nights later, when we turned up for our first sortie - I had a TX200 whilst my mate a Falcon PCP - nothing!! Then it started to get dark and Rats appeared like magic from every nook and cranny - so close that we couldn't focus the scopes on them and resorted to looking down the side of our barrels and lining up each Rat best we could.Talk about undergunned!! On the basis of this single visit the following w/end we returned armed with a 3 shot bolt action .22 shotgun and a 3 shot semi auto 9mm . Most nights we would shoot 150 + before retiring to our local watering hole then returning around an hour later for the rest. We had thought that we were doing an excellent job but after a couple of months we bumped into the owner - he was really annoyed as the 25kg tub of poison he had had delivered the previous day, had been chewed open and the entire contents consumed. We never picked up many dead Rats at all - the Pigs used to eat then as they dropped!!

Why **** around with the Green Party - you are simply fanning their Ego. Is what the 50,000 tree huggers are saying really damaging to the 150,000+ BASC members? Sticks and Stones etc. -
Baikal Tulla Toz 66 12 gauge

Nothing really to do with Baikal - the TULA factory stands alone. They even made exhibition grade guns in this model back in the 60's - they get under your skin and you cannot help but grow a kind of affection for them - you don't realise till you've sold them.
